Simon's Town Quayside Hotel

Very central location in Simon’s Town, close to lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the Boulders Beach penguin colony. Great base for exploring the Cape peninsula!

Great location, reserved parking for hotel guests, rooms are clean, comfortable beds and stable Wi-Fi connection, amenities provided in the room.

I wished there was a bread toaster in the room :)

This is our 3rd visit to the Quayside hotel and it wont be the last. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a great view of the harbour from the French balcony. It is well situated for all that Simonstown has to offer especially the many restaurants nearby. Being pensioners we love Bertha's downstairs for its superb view while eating the good and well priced meals..

Everything was good. We prefer the rooms in the main building as they are larger than the Annex section but that was not a problem.

We had a lovely stay at Simon’s Town Quayside Hotel. It’s a charming place with a nice atmosphere, and our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view over the harbour. The location is excellent, the walking distance to Fisherman’s Beach made it a perfect base for our visit.We also really enjoyed the relaxed evening vibe on the street where the hotel is situated, with cosy local pubs just steps away. Overall, we felt safe, comfortable, and able to fully unwind during our stay.

Location! It’s walking distance to the penguins, beaches, fishing, etc. This is a great little hotel. It’s clean. Staff is attentive. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here.

The facility is outdated. And there was no lifts for the luggage.

Clean and spacious room. Big and comfortable bed with good quality linen.Location is great. Simon's town has a very authentic feeling. Good restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Never felt unsafe.

I loved everything. What a view to wake up to. The restraunts on premise one of the best I visited. Berthas come highly recommended. Staff were excellent. Overall venue is value for money. You will never go wrong here

I did not like that when I booked the venue I chose my room because of the French doors but sadly it could not open. I reported it to the staff on duty the first day and they said would look into it but nothing was done.. So I paid for something that I could not uterlise.

Breakfast is supplied by Bertha's Restaurant, a separate business located below the hotel, and is very good. The view from quayside windows is very nice, and if African souvenirs (beaded animals, et al) are desired there is a market just steps outside the hotel door, with haggling over price expected.

The warning that a baboon or more might be entering the room while I was in there was a little unnerving.

The hotel is directly on the harbor front and our room had wonderful views. The breakfast was exceptional. Bed was very comfortable with quality bedding. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here

Had an amazing stay in Simon's Town. The Quayside Hotel was everything we could have wished for. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room had the most amazing view with balcony. Great location for the best food and a short walk to Boulderecommend. Not a babboon in sight ?Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect

The hotel was beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms. It was even better than expected. The price was terrific. There were great restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again.

The guesthouse was perfectly decorated and wonderfully spacious. We particularly loved the nostalgic view of the sea and sail yachts. The charming old shops and preserved architecture behind the guesthouse added to a truly perfect getaway.
