Mariner Guest house & Villa is built on the mountainside above the Simon´s Town harbor and offers stunning views across False Bay. The owner-run guest house is within walking distance of the center of town and beaches. The spacious and elegantly decorated rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV, free WiFi, microwave ovens, bar fridges, tea-and-coffee making facilities and private bathrooms in all units. All rooms have sea views and most have balconies. Mariner Guest house & Villa has a spacious double volume lounge with leather couches, oriental carpets and a wood burning fireplace. The open plan living and dining area has large windows overlooking the ocean and extends onto a veranda, where guests can enjoy their breakfast. The property has built-in barbecue facilities, is eco-friendly and offers free parking on site. All rates include breakfast, except for the Family Unit and Garden Apartment, which are booked as self-catering, with the option of adding on breakfast. The African Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach, boat trips, hiking trails and museums are all within 0.6 mi or ten minutes' walk and Cape of Good Hope or Chapman's Peak are a scenic 20 minutes' drive from Mariner Guest house & Villa. - There are a lot of stairs, I mean a lot!! To get in to walk to other places around town, truly a hazard if you don¿t watch where you¿re going. Very, very steep, not for the faint of heart if walking.
