I don't recommend it

It was very weird having the key to the hotel entrance to get inside. There was no one at the reception after 10pm. Breakfast on the first day was in an area with no quality for a proper breakfast. The rest of the breakfasts were in the restaurant, but the food was notting special.

Close to the station, comfortable, has a nice pub on premises. Excellent breakfast!

It is a simple place so I think the price should be cheaper - but then again well it’s Finland:)

Close to the train station and the main town. Room was okay, warm & clean.It’s a basic room to rest your head at night. So it was okay for us as we were spending most of the day out travelling, I wouldn’t recommend as a ‘holiday’ hotel. More of a pit stop for a night or two kind of a place.

Hotel is very outdated. I don’t think that the price matches the quality of the hotel at all. Should be a lot cheaper. It’s more of a hostel kind of vibe than a hotel really. The hotel is directly attached to a bar so keep this in mind when you’re booking. The shower didn’t work the first day of our stay water was very cold. You should be aware the corridors and hotels interiors are very 60/70s, quite old but the rooms have clearly had updates which is a positive. And in fairness the place appears to be cleaned well but there’s only so much cleaning can do when the interiors need updating .The hotel functions well as a basic place to stay, but simple updates like the corridors and reception would improve the place by miles and I’m sure encourage more guests to Kouvola and the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was no air conditioning so it was a bit troublesome to sleep during hot summer day.

The room was clean and they provided towels for hands and body.

The shower was shared so it was in the hallway.

The location is convenient

Our room was just above the bar, impossible to sleep until 2 am. Walls are paper thin, we could hear everything the drunk woman next door was yelling. The hotel is in dire need of renovation

Close to the centre of town and railway station, ideal hotel to stay in for a few nights. a decent breakfast is also served and there is on site parking.

Close to Kouvola railway station and the main street. Quiet room. Clean linen. Staff ok. There's a self-service kitchen.

Quite expensive for a room with a single common shower in the hallway (but there was an ensuite toilet in my room).

If you are not spoiled :-) , it's really OK. For the money very reasonable accomodation in Kouvola. Breakfast is good enough, some of the rooms could be a bit bigger, but we were lucky and got one of the biggest rooms, so it was great for us.You can use sauna for free.The only one not so nice thing - it was a bit problematic to get the right invoice (booked via Booking), but after some days I got it.

Hotel or rather hostel with very modest equipment.Parking free behind the hotel. Breakfast with sufficient selection of meals.

Very small room and even smaller bathroom. In a small hallway you could feel odor from the bathroom. The hotel was directly in the city center, but the street was not busy - the evening music program was busy. The room equipment was known to be old.

Location very good in the middle of the city, near railway station and services. There was a kitchen and fridge for customers. Sauna is always a plus, even though we didn't have time to use it this time.

The room was freezing cold when we entered, but warmed up during the evening. We had to prepare the breakfast ourselves.

Big room, quiet surroundings.

The property was not very cosy. Our room was warm because of extra electrical heater but the corridor and breakfastroom were cold.

Location is great.

Room was not clean, wardrobe was super dusty, each one of the twin beds had a different height and mattress was not comfortable. Place where breakfast takes place was a bit nasty.
