Pros +
- The hotel location is great in the middle of Lillehammer and the breakfast was great!
- We really enjoyed our stay at Breiseth. It's very conveniently located: close to the city centre and the train station / bus terminal which makes going skiing around Lillehammer very easy. The decor is nice and arty, plus they got two lounges where you can sit by the fire. You can also book a sauna downstairs. The breakfast is truly exceptional!
- Location was excellent, directly next to the train station while still being quite close to the main shopping street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite clean, and the shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and even though the room was rather small, it had a desk and a decent amount of storage space. The gym in the basement was exceptionally well-equipped for a hotel this size: a rower, multiple running treadmills, free weights and various other pieces of equipment. Finally, the interior design was charming, giving the hotel a feeling of history. I also really liked the set up, with a few small community rooms for hanging out and reading.
Cons -
- It feels old and outdated
- The only thing missing was the fridge in our room but we were allowed to use hotel fridge to cool drinks and snacks.
- Not much to complain about. The room was quite small, but this was expected and the efficiency of the space meant that it was still very functional. I stayed for multiple days, and my only complaint would be that I had to ask someone to come change out the trash (as opposed to it being done automatically). This is a very, very small complaint, but is the only real one I have.

Fantastic place to stay in the center of the City. Everything was beautifully decorated with classic paintings.
Old hotel renovated and rooms quite good though small. Parking close and included if you ask for a pass. Breakfast quite extensive
Very difficult to find using Apple Maps. Finally found on Google Maps. Rooms small.
Breakfast excellent.
Room a bit small and sparse. Bathroom shower floor was not well contained.
We arrived after midnight, and the front desk clerk was so helpful getting our car plugged in and explaining the hotel. The room was quaint and comfy, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of electric charging spaces, which was appreciated. Overall, would definitely recommend.
Lovely’s hotel and very good staff
Hotel in downtown and all things around
Beautifully renovated old world charm hotel. Our room was indeed recently renovated and very luxurious bedding etc. The lounge with free coffee/ tea was similarly luxurious and a welcoming place to relax. Breakfast was good with many options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always there, which is unusual. A few minutes walk to the station and to the Main Street with cafes. Highly recommend!
The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We loved it.
The room was tiny and the TV hung right in the very narrow passage between beds and bathroom. Super cramped.
Very nice hotel in the center of Lillehammer. Very good breakfasts, friendly personal, nice rooms for spending free-time.
Nothing, all was good
The room was perfect for us, the Superior room. I am sure some would say the hotel was a little dates, but we really likes that. It was very clean, which is the main thing. Location was fantastic, literally 2 mins from main centre of Lillehammer.
It was a little more expensive than I had hoped for. But there are cheaper rooms if that's your requirement.
Convenient snd good value, interesting building
Run down
The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was abundant. The location was perfect for us right by the train station.
Our room was chilly and the temp could not be adjusted. The design of the shower was poor as the curtain hung outside the shower area and water dripped all over the floor. This was impossible to avoid. It required a trip to the front desk to request multiple extra towels to mop up the water.
Variety of breakfast, very friendly staff, great location
Beds and breakfast was ok
Old tierd place with gosht
Location, food, comfort, quiet, friendly staff
Nice rooms and good breakfast. The location is perfect for doing business in downtown Lillehammer. Charming old hotel with soul.
The staff on reception were very friendly, professional, helpful.
It is tired - very shabby, run down. Would be perfectly ok if it wasn’t priced accordingly, however we were charged nok3000 a night for a hotel standard that is ‘budget’ - should have been no more than 1000 - 1500nok for this room. Travel extensively in Norway, so very disappointed.
It was centrally located and have a parking facility with breakfast.
Due to near the station the room was bit noisy and the beds were not very comfortable for us. Balcony was too small of no use
