    • Everything about our stay was fabulous - such an amazing and cozy place with endless magical cross country tracks right up the road. Loved the delicious breakfast and dinner included in the room price, and the comfy nooks all around the common areas to relax when the sun had set. We can’t wait to be back!
    • The location is exquisite, the staff really friendly and the sounds of lambs freely roaming around very relaxing. The rooms are simple, but comfortable.Overall a very lovely experience.
    • Panoramic lounge, great breakfast, quiet, good price.

    Cons -

    • Bathroom is very basic and doesn't compare to the room.
    • Just enough bread, I am sure more would have been brought if needed. I woudl have loved some Prim for cheese fill!Maybe option for coffee through day in "stue"?Needed some milk/ powder in room for coffees...Maybe some more clothe hooks in room to hand up coats etc...
    • I would have liked warm food for breakfast, though it was not a deal breaker.

Such a warm and friendly place to stay-very welcoming hosts, comfortable lounge, great apartment with views out to the mountains, and easy access to the ski trails. It is my son's 3rd time there and we will be back..

Amazing breakfast with option to make big packed lunch, can also fill thermos flask with hot toddy, tea or coffee. Good timings, 8-10 so suitable for all!Fabulous evening meal, similar set up every night but with new hot main every night. No need for snacking through day as excellent amounts kept us going all day, so fabulous value for money! Sauna in afternoon for afterski, nice separate sex, spacious and clean!Comfortable, plain but very clean and tidy rooms.Lovely drying room for all wet clothing!

Location is spot on, and the views are great. The food is very welcome after a long day skiing.

I would have liked warm food for breakfast, though it was not a deal breaker.

It was a very nice stay close to the cross country skiing trails which were amazing! We love the dinner - it was excellent. Very healthy. Its also great to have a possibility to go to the sauna after doing sport. And the common areas with views and fireplace were just amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

The check-in was quite late - at 4 pm. And the breakfast could have more options - scrambled eggs, omelets, and some pastries. We would also appreciate having boiled water for a tea accessible all day.

Nice View and close to the tracks

No lunch bag to take with you on tour,No coffee or the when you come back from a trip.I mist the hospitality you find in other fjellstue’s (been coming to Norway 40+ years)

    10DouglasPosted on: 2-22-2025

Excellent location close to excellent cross-country ski tracks. Accommodation isn’t fancy but was comfortable and warm (we were in one of the apartments). Great food and very friendly staff.

Unless you have a car self catering is difficult.

    good apartment in great location

many things are not included (cleaning, electricity)

The cabin was a great place to stay. Cute and cozy with northern lights just outside our door. It was a small cabin but exactly what we were looking for.

Nice cottageCleanIt was good to have a sauna in the cottage!

The location was slightly away from everything

    3CianPosted on: 8-12-2024

Location and size was great for us.

The price was incorrect via booking.com. We ended up paying nearly 50% more than we thought as one of the two rooms needed bed linen hire and breakfast paid for.

    9ThordisPosted on: 8-11-2024

I enjoyed staying at the mountain view apartment. The view was beautiful, the apartment had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the private sauna. There are many beautiful homes starting just on your door step.

The building is not very sound proof. Through the wooden floor every step, the guests on the floor above mine took, was very loud in my apartment.

Breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff, esp. The lady who was the head of the kitchen.

water was not warm enough in one room and only in the morning. There could be shampoo and conditioner in the shower.

    8LonijaPosted on: 7-22-2024

    Very good

Cooking stove did not work. Luckily we had our own gas cooking kit. Rest was good :)

    9DavePosted on: 5-13-2024

Clean, easy check-in and check-out, sauna in the apartment worked great, great view. Comfy beds. Proper cleaning equipment is provided.

Requires thorough cleaning (or pay a hefty cleaning fee), the main room's windows cannot be opened. Only a single piece of wood for the wood stove was provided (although we did not ask anyone for more).

The breakfast was very good. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were always very helpful.
