- This was a gem of a hotel once we learned of its history. Such a fun building! Staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.
- Breakfast was very good and location was convenient to Storgata (the main shopping/retaurant street)
Cons -
- wwarm time of year and room was very warm even with a fan
- Our window was at the level of the parking lot, near the pavement. But there were no noise issues as a result.
- Tried to eat at the restaurant (attached to the hotel) for dinner but we had to eventually leave because no one waited on us.

Friendly, helpful staff.Nice room.Close to everything we needed. From a price perspective this was the best value hotel we used in our tour of Norway.
No onsite parking but was easy enough to find alternative.
Gem of a property with great location, comfortable rooms, a lovely stream running outside and wonderful front desk staff.
Breakfast room - staff who would’ve preferred not to have any guests at all.
Very comfortable beds, very clean, great breakfast! This hotel just has a good vibe!
Very nice place in the center of town. They have a nice restaurant facing the river. Parking is available next to the property. Small rooms but comfortable everybody was nice and welcoming
No air conditioning but they did provide a fan in the room
Great breakfast. Very nice check in staff, helpful with street parking information.
Entry with luggage is a bit of a hassle.
The property is unique and in a good location
The rooms are small but quaint
Minutes from train station, easy walk to many places. Very reasonably priced.
Busy place, but whole of Norway like that right now
The breakfast was amazing! The restaurant was lovely, so interesting with the different levels and view of the mill stream. Food and service were excellent and good value. We had a very nice room, with windows that open (nice because these were the first warm days of the year). The staff was so friendly and helpful, they couldn't have been better! We enjoyed every aspect of this unique, historic hotel - the excellent location, access to parking, the on-site restaurant, the lovely and comfortable room, great bathroom, everything.
The breakfast was full and varied, with many options.Location was perfect- right in middle of town.Comfy bed, had TVNice tea and coffee in room too
Room was quite smallCould have a small fridge Parking wasn’t included
Really homely atmosphere, well designed with access to great Egon restaurant in the old mill next door. The skybar was fun with views towards the ‘94 Winter Olympics ski jump and surrounding hills, worth a look from the top too!Staff were very friendly and facilities good.
Only downside central LED light fitting in bedroom seemed to glow in the dark during night;
Lovely room with very comfortable bed. Good view. Hotel entrance is inviting and cosy. Good breakfast. Very good value for money. I will most certainly be back the next time I am in the area.
We didn’t know about the keyless entry but thankfully there was a person in the lobby who helped us! Once we got that sorted it was good…room was tiny but clean and a good location.
Second time staying at this hotel, and it's perfect. Great location, and the staff are spot on.
Nothing, always nice to stay there.
Great, engaging and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Warm bathroom. Unbeatable location.
Room was a little small but OK.
The staff have been amazing as we where travelling with a 2 yr old, had lots of questions about what we could do in Lillehammer, and the hotel staff have answered many emails and we are very grateful for this.
The view of the water was beautiful. The breakfast was very nice and had vegetarian options. The location is convenient, just a few minutes from the train station.
Love the unique settin and view over the river. Small number of rooms great breakfast too
