Quality Hotel Fredrikstad

Very nice women at the reception.

The bed was way too soft and the pillows on the other side were way too hard.Breakfast was okay but no service at all. Sift boiled eggs were cold and not warm.During the time I had of my stay at the hotel I had at least 4 times contact with the reception (check-in; 2 times new key cards for my room, because they stopped working; check-out), I got with questions from my side to hear, "sorry, but it is the first time since a longer period, that I work here today." Something is going on in this hotel and it isn't good.

Front desk was very helpful and welcoming! After a long day on the road, it was refreshing. Very nice hotel, recommend staying if in the area.

Nice hotel in a good area, easy walk to the ferry for.old town, the river and the charming streets.

Breakfast was hot, warm and deilig! The juice was fresh pressed and not from concentrate. The coffee choices were also amazing as I LOVE Cafe Mocha!

I wish the room had a balcony. The shower glass was only halfway covering the body when showering. You could not adjust the temperature on the thermostats.

Very nice breakfast. It was possible to open window little bit and get some fresh air.

Close to pier promanade, restaurants and shopping. Underground parking available at a cost. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was spectacular. Would certainly stay again.

No phone in the room, ice machine on our floor didn't work, bath tub leaked, kinda noisy (we were directly above the front entrance), not really any room service.

Really confortable hotel with a great location with walking distance to all the restaurants and areas of interest . Staff super helpful and the breakfast was quite nice.

Everything was quite good. The only comment I can make is that the sign from outside the hotel had some lights broken, so instead of reading it as QUALITY HOTEL at night was only LITY HOTEL. No big deal!

Be careful about parking your car in the hotel parking. The ticket machine did not work properly when we were there. We paid for parking for one day and still received a parking fine. The hotel really should have a much better parking system!

Booked the wrong date by accident, (came a day early). Came to hotel, didnt want to help, didnt respond to my cancelation mail. They did however take the money. Still no response, hope you are happy with the cash

Good location for travel. Everything in this lovely town was within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent! Parking available close by.

There was no housecleaning, or at least they kipped my room. Never experienced that before.

My room was somehow not cleaned when I was there -- bed left unmade, bathroom untouched. They just seemed to skip my room. A little shocking when I got back to the room at the end of the day.

Nice location in the centre of modern town and only 15 minutes walk to the old town (Gamlebyen). There is a free ferry to take you across the river. We parked our car in the public parking next to the hotel (fee is needed). Room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!

The location, staff and food were all good.

The floor to ceiling windows let in too much sunshine, causing the room to overheat. External blinds had been installed but they were broken. No air conditioning.

There was no AC, and the blinds were also broken so it didn’t get as dark as we’d have hoped.

Comfortable hotel right in the city centre. All the required facilities are there. There was even a bathtub in the room! The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have own parking, but Lykkeberget P-Hus is affordable and has an exist right into the hotel. Special thanks for the book with local sights in the room. Didn't know there is a little Stonehenge nearby. The location is good: it's a short walk to the waterfront with many restaurants and a free boat that goes to the old town.

There was neither minibar nor kettle in the room. I guess one needs to take a more expensive room to get that. And there is bar downstairs, so that's fine. We didn't get a double bed. But that's just because we booked a bit late. There are rooms with double beds in the hotel.There was a bit of noise in the night — an occasional car blasting its stereo out or a yelling person. But that's likely unavoidable in the city centre.

Great breakfast and really welcome staff. With two young boys the staff was always really helpful. Thank you ?

the room lights was little tricky (all or nothing). That's the reason we only use a standing lamp in the corner.

Good location as we stayed the night on our way to Hemsedal. Friendly staff. We loved the relaxed atmosphere getting in and having a bite of food at the restaurant. Deluxe Room was perfect for our family of 4 - kids <6 years old. Breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend.

Bad

I am very disappointed with this hotel. We stayed at the family room with 2 kids, but it was a big party with loud music at the hotel from 6PM to midnight. The loud noise from the party and from the street outside made us difficult to sleep. I tried to contact the front desk, but they could not resolve the problem. I wrote a complaint letter to the hotel manager, but he was not responding.
