    Pros +

    • Extremely historic room that had a lot of care taken to preserving it. So unique and beautiful! The rooftop is a wonderful spot for a drink and excellent food. The service was fast and thoughtful. The front desk was outrageously helpful, kind, and patient. They arranged a taxi for us without problem. The breakfast is nice, but simple. The hotel is walking distance from a lot of things. We really enjoyed our stay!
    • The hotel is a lovely art deco style building with a historic elevator, comfortable rooms, and a nice rooftop terrace. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and the location is excellent - right by the Lastarria neighborhood and a nice park leading to the Museo de Bellas Artes.
    • We were told upon check-in that we had been upgraded to a larger room. The room was nice. The bed was king size and overall, it was a pleasant experience. There was no window in the actual bedroom just in the bathroom that was facing the street. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was OK – nothing to brag about. Juice was not fresh, but from a pack. The vibe of the hotel is pretty cool. The rooftop bar is nice if you don't wanna go out. Food was decent.

    Cons -

    • It's no fault of the hotel -- but something to note -- the immediate area is near a bus stop, park, and fountain. Where beautiful by day, it can attract unsafe activity by night. Be mindful of taking a cab later in the evening. Front desk can help arrange it for you!
    • The pool was tiny and the water in it was dirty. The room cleaning could have been more thorough - for example the sink was not cleaned.
    • Overall, the whole hotel could use fresh paint and just a little bit more love. The bed was very soft. It was weird being upgraded and then not really feeling like we got a better room just a bigger one with an extra bottle of wine. The bathroom was very big however there was lots of unused space that just made it feel like somebody was moving out.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, felt very secure, and the room was good size and clean. The breakfast service was also nice.

The pool didn’t seem well kept so we skipped using it.

The hotel is in a very good area. Close to three universities, the city center, and bella vista. It has a unique design and the rooms are big and comfortable. I travel a lot for my work and I know that may times cleanliness might be an issue as ppl may have missed a couple of things but If I can clean it then I do not make a big deal of the situation. However, finding blood stains on the cushions of the chair, linens, and duvet is where I draw the line. I had to miss a day of work just to make sure that the cleaning crew indeed changed my duvet into a blood-free one. They tried 5 times (pulled them from other rooms) until they get a clean one. Apparently, the administration has instructed the crew to clean the duvets every 10 days irrespective of their conditions. Per the admin's request, I have emailed them the photos of the bloody duvets and they refused to refund me the day that I lost because of their policies. They offered me a meal (without alcoholic drink) at their bar. So, my recommendation to you if you choose to stay there is have a back-up plan and check thoroughly for fresh blood stains.

Forced to sleep in bloody linens.

Great location, close to good selection of good restaurants and viewpoints, very warm welcoming staff would definitely recommend!

Very pleasant front office staff; breakfast included; relatively good location; upper level open air bar (you cannot see out to the park, by the way—it’s just literally an open air area to chat and drink); the room seemed very quiet (street noise aside—if the window is open you’ll hear lots of street noise).

No major gripes, but a few mentions. We had a deluxe room but it had an odd design where the exterior window that would be nice to hang out by was in a bathroom facing the street. (My understanding is that not all rooms even have a window.) The interior portion of the room had the beds close to the hallway in a relatively tight configuration. As organized, this was not a place we wanted to chill out and relax at the end of the day. The interior bed area was kind of dark and uninviting. I included a picture of the layout. The included breakfast was pretty basic and will disappoint some. The floor wasn’t very clean and my wife took to doing her own daily floor mopping. We were cautioned by one gentleman who worked there not to be out late or early morning—not a problem with the hotel but its location.

Excellent and friendly staff! Very welcoming! They gave us a warning about safety in the neighbourhood, that was very helpful as we could tell there were pick pocketer around.

Loved the terrace bar! Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating reception staff. Cool, vintage property!

Bummer for the reception staff thst has to go open the door each time a guest wants to come into the hotel.

What did you like about the property? The hotel has a unique vintage charm with modern touches. The rooftop terrace was a highlight — perfect for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the view. The location is ideal, close to restaurants and attractions, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

What an adorable hotel! And right in the heart of it all. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We had to leave early and they had breakfast ready for us at 5:00AM! We were also able to store our extra luggage while we did a small side trip. The beds... AMAZING! All in all, this is a delightful hotel with wonderful staff. I would DEF stay here again!

    Nothing! Great place!

Lovely property and very friendly team. Great location. Lovely little touches in the room and they gave us a free upgrade!

Breakfast was ok but other reviews are right that it doesn’t match the standard of the rest of the offer of the hotel

The hotel was close to the centre of Santiago, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was exceptionally good and different each day.. Great rooftop bar.. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful every day ? A special shout to you Aianis, Gonzalo, Anais and Isidora, they made the stay even better ?

Great staff! Good location downtown with Parque Forestal right across the street. Cool historical building with comfortable, spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet included.

    Would not recommend

Description of standard room on websites is incorrect.Standard room described as facing an atrium and sound proof. In actual fact, the atrium does not have natural light but low voltage electric lights. The room was dark and extremely small. Noise from people coughing, having a shower etc from neighbouring rooms could be heard. Breakfast was extremely poor.

Very nice boutique hotel in Santiago not far from the funicular and park and close to a plaza with nice restaurants. Very comfortable room and very friendly and extremely helpful staff . Was a great place for a very quiet stay at the end of a long cruise holiday before the flight home . Good breakfast plenty to choose from .
