Hotel Diego de Almagro Providencia

Excellent location, great staff, rooms are beyond comfortable, great breakfast, great value for money!

I would have liked to pay part of the bill with pesos, but the staff mentioned they'd charge me with taxes in that case. So I had to pay everything in dollars, even though I had received some pesos I was planning to use for that purpose.

i didn't appreciate the fact that the hotel does not accept debit cards upon checking in also i had to change 2 rooms because the 1st room the AC wasn't working then they got us another room then the safety deposit box wasn't working either then we moved to the 18th Floor, Room 1801 and we stayed there until our stay ended. The hotel needs staff that speak english as we had to used our phones to communicate also when I had booked this hotel I had received a free taxi pick at the airport and when I landed there was no taxi I had to pay for a taxi to arrive at the hotel. P.S. this was my second trip to Chile and stayed at your Hotel in 2019.

good, but so few perssonel attending and cleaning the tables, and the place was very bussy. that is not good,

Clean, comfortable, very well situated. The recently renovated restaurant offers an outstanding breakfast, and the staff were very pleasant.

The upper hallways are in need of upgrading but the rooms are very pleasant.

Location is very good. The view from the upper floors is excellent. There is enough parking, which is free.

My bed had an old and worn-out mattress. The lighting is white and cold like in a public hospital. The breakfast was below standard. Security is insufficient, since anyone can enter the parking garage without any control and then take the elevator to the guest floors without having a room key card.

Good value. Staff great.

A water jug/kettle in the room to make a cup of tea is needed, instead of going downstairs to the cafe for a cup of hot water, if the cafe was open.

The room are clean. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast has a variety of election. It is well located close to shopping and metro station

very average hotel

Pillows not comfortable.I left clothing in my room accidentally, but trying to get it back was a problem. I had to change rooms. I asked to have the forgotten clothes sent to my room, which was not done.

There is no kettle in the room

Very good hotel at a fair value in an excellent location. Good shower, great bed, clean facilities, all that is expected from a good hotel.

It was clean and well located

The settings for air conditioning where limited and it was too hot (AC for cold wasn’t enabled)

I like the staff and location of hotel. Rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast is good.

They should take care of guests basic needs to improve quality service. For example:To lend a universal power charger if necessary. To offer organic sugar at breakfastTo check availability of drinks/water in the room.

I didn’t appreciate the front desk clerk when I asked for a taxi told me there was none available but I could walk to the Costanera to pick up one. I should mention I had 2 suitcases, a back pack and I was walking with a cane.

Breakfast: Moderate quality, no natural yoghurt, industry bread and stale muffins. Location is nice, ¡if you need to be in Providencia and Las Condes.

The hotel seems to be designed in the Soviet Union, with a lacking atmosphere, and rooms have the essentials but are not decorated. The only nice place is the pool, which has a lot of gardens around it.There is no bar, and the restaurant is open until 930pm.The bathtub was badly repaired. Internet failed various times.

location excellent, breakfast, room and other facilities OK

WIFI hardly worked, definitely not at all as advertised, staff unfriendly and unhelpful, did not take complaints serious ("cannot do anything about it"), hardly any of them spoke English

Good location, good breakfast and comfortable bed. Clean room and bathroom. Good blackout curtains.

Very bad wifi connection even for minimal phone usage. Bad TV signal. Problems with hot water availability. Not able to modify thermostat in the room. Room is clean but basic set up.

Great location & good value. Excellent elevators too!

No concierge who was helpful in English; learning about nearby restaurants and day trips was limited. Beds were fair; pillows awful. Couldn’t leave a bag for 5 nights.
