Solace Hotel Santiago

The staff were absolutely incredible and went out of their way to accommodate any requests. The roof top with the pool and incredible view is not to be missed. The complimentary breakfast was as good as anywhere

Staffs were very kind and helpful. Free water and soft drinks are offered in the refrigerator everyday. Definately clean and good location.

Only one thing. When i turn on the heater, I can hear big sounds of water flow from the air vent. It would be distracting sound for sensetive person.

Our room smelled of cat pee and the phone was broken.

Our room had an odor. Also the bed didn’t have a mattress protector, nor a fitted sheet. Just one flat sheet and a comforter. Im not sure if that was an oversight or normal.

The staff was really nice at the breakfast , they wait for us even if the breakfast was already over

The rooms where extremely hot and the air conditioning didn’t work properly or wouldn’t cool the room down

Restaurant staff could not remember orders and would not put food on the room number or have each couple pay their own?!! Someone had to pay the whole shot and then we’d pay them back! and the pool was cold

The hotel was well located, the facilities were pretty convenient and the rooftop bar was also something practical and with amazing view. The hotel staff were always super helpful for whatever you would need. Also I was not expecting to have the chance to attend yoga classes near the pool, it was a nice touch to start the day refreshened.

Some of the food at the rooftop restaurant was odd. Would have liked an earlier breakfast on the weekends. Especially if taking a day tour

A beautiful, slightly aging hotel. Mid century modern design with a mid size lap pool on a fantastic roof top deck with bar and 360degree views of the city and beautiful surroundings.Enjoyed the delicious lattes and cappuccinos in the lobby everyday too.Location is great to hang out and relax in the Providencia neighborhood.

Quiet location and street steps away from Metro. Great rooftop dining as well as pool and gym. Comfortable spacious room with free coffee, water and soda. Maid, concierge, front desk outstanding.

The views, the swimming pool, the terrace bar, the lobby bar. All these absolutely amazing.The room was very nice with just a little smell due to the A/C, but nothing terrible. The facilities, breakfast, elevators, etcetera were ok too!

The street where it is the hotel is very nice, but going to the top places of Santiago you have to take an uber or at least a 15 minute walk.

Located in a very nice neighborhood of Santiago, this hotel was comfortable, with helpful staff and a good breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. Rooftop patio is great for views. Safe location, and quiet. Just a half block from the Main Street where you can find lots of shops and restaurants.

Location is in a somewhat questionable area of town and is quite a walk from many of the better restaurants and bars (nearer the Palermo area).

Terrific location on a quiet street in Santiago’s traditional upscale neighborhood, steps from the Mapocho riverwalk and walkable shopping in Providence. The property was modern, crisp & thoughtfully designed with awesome rooftop bar & pool with stunning views. Great, knowledgeable accommodating staff.

The music in the elevator got old, but very minor. Cabbies had some challenges finding it due to some nearby construction.

The room and front desk staff were nice. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar (great staff there too) and the views. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

No TV - We were looking forward to watching TV (had a 5 night stay and had been without TV for almost a week before arriving), so we were anxious to catch up on news and just unwind in the evenings. However, the TVs were not working (no signal) during our entire stay. At one point, I was told that this problem was for the entire hotel, but at another point, they implied that some rooms might (?) have service (and the TV in the rooftop bar appeared to be working one day). If I had known there would be no TV, I would have booked a room elsewhere, but this issue wasn't discovered until after I made a non-refundable booking and settled into the room. Furthermore, they didn't offer any type of compensation (discount on room or free dinner or drinks, move to a room with TV services, etc.). I booked and paid for a room including TV service, but didn't receive what I paid for. I expected better from a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel is really nice, small but beautiful. Room was big and all was clean.

Stayed for 4 nights and noticed the toilet had sewerage smell. Told the reception but they always say they will do something but the smell still there everyday. So it definitely ruined the whole experience.

We only booked here so we could have a sleep after an overnight international flight before getting onto another one, so am unable to comment on location or facilities. I can however comment on how helpful the staff were when we were checking in at 5am on the same day we would be checking out! They also immediately offered us a free late check out of 2pm which meant we were able to get a solid 7+hrs sleep. The rooms were very clean and the beds were probably the best beds out of the whole 2 weeks in Sth America. We did pop up to the roof top bar before leaving and I can highly recommend the steak sandwich - it's big enough to feed 3 people!

Great location, safe and reachable. Roof terrace a must to chill out. Best service through Jordan! He made a great difference going far and beyond with our needs. Come to Santiago and stay here!

Easy available outlets at both bed sizes are needed. Better lighting in the room.
