    Pros +

    • The staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was spectacular, spotless and clean. The public spaces were excellent.
    • The staff was very nice and helpful. The front desk attendant could see I was frazzled upon arrival after a red eye and airport issues, and she went above and beyond to get me an early check in. Not my favorite hotel, but would easily stay again. Thanks
    • Great service, location, the whole place was clean and well-maintained.

    Cons -

    • Unfortunately the area of Downtown Santiago had riots & troubles just before Covid. The area is blighted by graffiti and burnt buildings. Those troubles seem to be long gone, but the evidence is still present. We never felt threatened & walked everywhere.
    • Older hotel that could use some sprucing up. The wallpaper in my room was bubbled, but housekeeping did a good job keeping it clean. No ice makers on floors, but you can call room service and they will bring it.
    • I was trying to sleep and I could hear everything in the room behind the headboards of the bed, which was kind of annoying.

(Reception) was very helpful and friendly. I had a comfortable stay at the hotel, and also received a complimentary drink and breakfast buffet. The location is convenient as well.

Staff was very nice and helpful.

Rooms are old, can be kept cleaner. Due for a renovation.

A bit of a disappointment. Asked for an omelette, which was provided, but didn’t know you could order one since there’s no bkfst menu.No ketchup or hot sauces. Lots of sweets. Limited number of fresh fruits. You had to special order fresh juices.

AC was not functioning properly for several days. It made for some hot nights. Elevators were being worked on for most of our stay. The room had large windows, which hadn’t been washed in many months. Soap provided one day, wash cloths twice.Hotel rest was a disappointment. The pumpkin soup was terrible; supposedly it was creamed but had a sour/vinegar taste. Wines are overpriced for what is offered.

High quality property with very friendly staff. The bar is a comfortable place for an early drink

A little distant from some of the attractions Santiago has to offer

We liked everything: the spacious room, coffee in the room, the delicious breakfast, the cool bar, but specially the staff were very professional and greqted us very well, and they gave us all the information we needed.

The bathroom didn't have an air extractor.

Good location for both sea front and local plaza within walking distance. Staff excellent. Food good

The location was good and my room on the 21st floor had wonderful views and was lovely and clean.

First my key card didn't work, I had to go back to reception, the new card didn't work and I had to wait in non-air- conditioned environment for a staff member to help me. Then I realised the lady had not given me the wifi password and it wasn't in the room and then the lift broke and I was stuck for 10 mins going up and down. I was generally unimpressed by the standard and do not think this is a 4* hotel.

    Decent location. Comfortable bed.

The hotel is dated and finishes are old and worn. The buffet breakfast was average, and rooms didn't have smart TV's or USB outlets. The gym was ordinary and the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. It would've been nice to have been notified about this as it's one of the reasons why we chose the hotel.Overall the hotel doesn't present as a 5 star facility.

    3Lord-lynchPosted on: 10-25-2024

The location was the only real benefit and the fact that the hop on and off bus stopped at the hotel.

Almost everything. The room was damp, the hallway in desperate needs of redecoration, the shower didn't work properly, the room had few power sockets and few worked, the breakfast consisted of the same unimpressive menu each morning.

The hotel staff her are exceptional. Adolfo, Christian, Cesar, Richie, Estefany in particular, but pretty much all of them. So helpful and kind in all ways, arranging transport, meeting our needs in the hotel, everything! A wonderful team of people.

They need an ATM in the lobby. Not only would it be great for guests, but it would generate rental. Taxis are dicey in Santiago. Hotel should operate an Uber account for guest use. Guest needs to go out, Uber is arranged and added to bill with small convenience surcharge (5%?). Guest is out and calls hotel to be picked up by Uber. Hotel arranges pick up, adds cost to bill with convenience charge again. I would pay in a heartbeat for this service. Guest is satisfied, more revenue for hotel.

the building is nice .the mattress is comfortable

shower didn't wirk. no help with urgent issue in bathroom. no toulet paper breakfast poor for the rating.not enough staff. coffe machine often not working ,no refill of containers 20 minutes at least before the end

The staff here is excellent!!!!!! Service fantastic! Couldn’t have asked for best staff!!! Just needs updating as this lets it down. Staff are sooooopp nice and helpful. Just perfect!

The property is old. The hallways look so old and the paint is awful. They need to change the carpet and give their hallways a good paint and decorate it. That lets it down BIG time! It’s disappointing that it’s part of the Marriott group and they have done NO effort to bring this hotel to their standard!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocking. They need to change the carpet of their hotel rooms. They look disgusting and old. That needs updating. This is not a 5 star hotel or a 4 star!!!!

The location was stratégique. We could go everywhere by walking. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

    It’s an old building.

    8YaadyPosted on: 8-16-2023

The entire staff was amazing from Stephanie at the front desk to everyone at the bar who took care of me.

My room was a bit danty, and the bathtub didn't drain so easily.

    6EmrePosted on: 3-20-2023

The location was easy to walk to and close to metro stations. It is in the center of the city, but no one is recommending walking in the evening, however, I did walk a bit evening and night and didn't recognize anything (maybe by chance)

Breakfast was excluded that's not good. However I was already late for it, so couldn't try.
