The location is perfectly centered among all tourist attractions, the staff's great altitude in customer service and English speaking fluency, the wine tasting in the hotel is EXCELLENT, the museum is also very informative.

This is an older hotel so the facility is older.

The complimentary breakfast was the best part of my stay. The staff were very helpful and polite as well.

The lack of hot water became an issue several times. The conditions of the hotel were more at a 3 Star level. The lack of 24 hour room service was a bother as well as a lack of a simple vending machine.

Great staff. The breakfast is AWESOME! Best breakfast in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Beautiful decorations.

Make sure you check the air conditioner. If it doesn't work, ask for another room until you get one where the air conditioning works. That is the ONLY problem with some of the rooms. Otherwise, this is a great hotel and value!

Very friendly staff

Pool does not have any lounge chairs... it’s a very tight space. Great breakfast buffet!!

Location is great, staff was very helpful, and breakfast was decent enough.

Air conditioning was a big problem: first room wouldn't get below 80, though the staff was accommodating to give us a new one that was cooler. Overall the hotel is very worn (stained carpet, black shower grout), not what I would expect from four stars.

Stayed here twice for 6 nights altogether. Don't miss out on this great hotel. I've stayed at 1000's of hotels in my lifetime and this is in my top 10. Great value, excellent location, really good large buffet. Staff go out of their way.

Not a thing

Hotel has a great deal of charm, was impeccably clean, very kind and helpful staff, and a very nice breakfast provided. Rooftop pool was quite nice.

Only negative was that our air conditioning did not make the room as cool as we would have liked, but it was acceptable.

Where to begin. The water in the shower goes from scalding hot to freezing cold then back to where you set it. The bathroom door has the handle falling off on one side and the refrigerator doesn't work. The A/C was also not cooling well. The breakfast has extremely runny eggs with cut-up hot dogs for a meat. When all of our things were stolen (phones, credit cards, cash, etc) in Valparaiso, the staff would not help us contact anyone citing hotel policy. We were told to go to our embassies (Brazil and US), forcing us to wait until the next day (Monday) to stop all fraud on our accounts. The location is in the center of Santiago that is fine during the day, but don't walk around at night. If you have to go anywhere, do not use the hotel Taxi. The cost is approximately 40% higher for the same ride from Cabify or Uber. I have stayed all over the world and feel that the price for this hotel is way above what it is worth. Prices for anything from the bar or restaurant are much higher (to be expected at a hotel) than the restaurants.

Overall the place was great, I only stayed for one night so it wasn’t worth it to request a new room.

We were a appalled by the conditioning the floor in our room, we wore sandals the entire time, the floor looks like it needs a professional clean there was residues of dirt all over it, you could feel the grime under your feet. It almost resembled glue from floor installation it was caked on.

Location is great, since I only stay here for 2D2N so its easy for me to walk around

Aircon didnt work well. I expect the bathtub but it is too old and cant use

Convenient location near metro, in a central vivid block.Great breakfast - good products and variety, cooked and presented very well, nice dining area generally.

Not worth staying just for breakfast. The room was old. Not a big deal, but it was dirty, cleaned long time ago. It was dusty, bathroom stank awfully from pipes, from dry water locks. I ran a lot of water to get rid of it (not completely though). Minibar was full of snow and didn't work well.Looked like that they charged $80 per night - and that's it, who cares, let's accommodate them in a smelly room, with broken minibar... One set of towels is good enough for two people (never got more towels, though I asked). What a shame.

Hotel at the heart of the historical center, excellent location! Not true what others write, that the surroundings are "sketchy". Several sights are within walking distance. The room was huge, very comfy, clean, and the breakfast was nice. There is also a bar and a little pool.

The location was convenient for visiting downtown Santiago.

Outdated, floors are not flat and the carpets in rooms is very old. This hotel needs a serious upgrade. Room service should be 24 hours.
