Four Points By Sheraton Santiago

This was perhaps the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff we've ever encountered. They went well beyond what they had to do to make our stay wonderful.

The rooms are getting old

Construction out front was the only problem,. Loved that there was a “village” area just around the corner. Also, could walk to several attractions. Front desk helpful in arranging car service to more distant attractions.

Easy go around area good meals restaurants small stores safe environment.

The breakfast was excellent with many selections available. All of the food was delicious. Christian was very helpful. He saw us walk by the hotel (we didn't see the entrance) and came out to assist us; carried our luggage back into the hotel. He is pleasant, always smiling. The staff at the front desk assisted us by looking up some potential places to shop and provided clear directions for how to walk there.

I wish there had been a clearer explanation of the dinner meal that we ordered. We ended up with lots of food (that we couldn't finish) because we were told that the portions were small, but in fact, they were quite ample. I think that the hotel renovations will be good. It would have been nice to have the market completed when we were there.

The location

It was too old, food was bad and expensive, the staff was very confusing, the street was terrible to get to the hotel. The gym was awful

Staff is extremely helpful. The location is great with great connectivity and restaurants near by. Rooms were good. Breakfast spread was very good. Due to construction, the road was blocked for traffic however the staff was extremely helpful and ensure that guests are not inconvenienced.

Good location in a (relatively) safe area. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and pillows.

Rooms are getting a little tired.

Roof top pool; close to local restaurants.

No USB charging points: no view at back: road works at front: 20% additional charge for not using credit card.

The air conditioner was so noisy, vibrations in it, impossible to sleep when the machine is on.

Amazing stuff and location.

The room was larger than a standard hotel room. Generally clean and tidy. Good location for restaurants and metros.

Some of the grouting and painting in the bathroom was showing its age. Could have done with a second armchair.

Location!! Very close to a metro, but also walking distance to many attractions.

The pool was in bad repair and the hot tub was broken.

Comfortable bed, quiet location, good breakfast in the morning, and a staff always pleasant and helpful.

The construction outside the front door was sort of messy, but not really a problem. There was nothing the hotel could do about this.

central controled air-conditioning is little tricky to control.

All amenities It was good, standard level.

I was robbed inside the Hotel, I had my backpack stolen with several personal belongings and work equipment and unfortunately to my surprise the Hotel informed us that it is not responsible for what happened, that the most it could do was to provide a taxi to the police station more next in the region and then drop me off at the airport and nothing else.It's not the first time that this has happened to me, I've been traveling for work for many years and I can't help but compare the treatment, the first time the Hotel informed me of all the procedures for reimbursement, presenting the invoice, using the images, registering the incident at the police station and in less than 1 week, I had everything refunded, with a letter of apology and regretting what happened.Four Points by Sheraton Santiago, to my surprise, treated the incident as something common and that I should have taken better care of my backpack!Detail there was no security at the door and they do not control people circulating in the lobby, they do not question and say that it is not a procedure to approach people to identify or guide these people, this also caused me indignation.

Great location steps to the underground. Lots of restaurants and pedestrian areas, but it was never noisy. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice. The rooftop pool and hot tub was a bonus.

We liked everything!

Large and comfortable bed. Fresh drinking water daily. We had the roof pool and hot tub to ourselves one evening which was lovely. Varied and plentiful breakfast with the friendliest and most helpful waitresses. Reception staff sorted a late check out for us. Good location.

The gym didn't have that much equipment, but it was okay.
