Hotel Brasilia

Rented the apartment. I liked the staff the most and the bed and pillows are comfortable. The TV is nice . A gym and supermarket is right next door.

Kitchen should be better stocked.

The price is very good. If you are waiting for a cruise it is a good place to stay without paying a lot of money.The staff organized a taxi to the bus station.The breakfast is sufficient.

The area. Not the best of area. Not terrible but not much around.

Room was great. Bed was comfy. Location was good near a plaza square and a metro station. Staff especially Pauline on Reception was most helpful

Good hotel well located in a district not too touristy. It is just getting a bit old

Breakfast was good and we were able get breakfast box as early as 4 am.

Towels should be definitely changed for new, the one you have really bad.

Disappointing

Definitely to noisy, with dance studio next to room ongoing music and yelling afternoon into night, no curtain in room only blind night time room bright from outside lighting not best for a decent sleep

The rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable. Very limited choice at breakfast but for what we paid not unexpected

Basic but good accommodations in Santiago. The front desk staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable. We were grateful for the AC as it was quite hot when we were there! Breakfast was also very good.

No frills accommodation at a very fair cost. Room was a good size with AC and a fridge but did not have any facilities for making tea or coffee. Breakfast was included and had a good range of food provided. Location is reasonable, near to several food outlets and a supermarket. It's a little out from the city centre but near to a Metro station and bus services. The adjacent mini market was useful and was able to supply a mains adaptor at low cost to go from euro plug to Chilean plug. Reception staff were helpful when required.

Room lighting was poor due to several bulbs being missing. We didn't raise this with reception and I am sure they would have assisted if we had.

Friendly and sincere staff that was responsive to my queries. I am an English speaker with very little Spanish and the staff were all Spanish speakers with little English; but we got by with a translation app when needed. My room was very clean and quiet. Hotel Brasilia is centrally located to a very interesting and vibrant part of an otherwise sprawling and intimidating Santiago. I was within walking distance to O’Higgins Parque, Museos Nationales, Virgen y Cupula, and several colorful districts with unique cafes and eateries; from Chilean, to Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) . . . and a Viking Bar!

The bed mattress was more firm than I cared for making sleep less restful. Also, after checking-out, I returned after a 3hr walk to retrieve a phone charger cable and plug I left in the room. The plug and a cable were immediately provided. Unfortunately, the cable was not the one I left and it proved defective when I tried to use it later that day to charge my phone.
