    Pros +

    • Position, view from room, car parking
    • Lovely hotel with an excellent breakfast. Perfect location.
    • Big and comfortable room

    Cons -

    • Service at breakfast - one morning we were presented with wrong cooked meals and another morning had to wait 20 minutes for our order to be taken. One waiter in particular was off-hand and unfriendly. The rear half of the restaurant has a low ceiling with a dark wood feature fixed to it so it's very gloomy and depressing.Sea-view bedroom decorations were bodged -up jobs with plaster dropping down from scruffy ceiling. Also, next room's bathroom was directly behind our bed-head. and we could hear everything - not good planning.
    • We were there on a very hot weekend, with the room being tiny it was very hot overnight, would recommend having fans in the rooms for such occasions.
    • The laundry room next door was noisy and no view

The location, and staff very friendly

Could have been cleaner, and service at breakfast was disappointing. Croissants over-warmed, and everything came out at different times, so tea cold before toast arrived

The hotel is in a great location with free parking. It was perfect for our family and the room was a great size, with a separate bedroom for the children.

My 7 year old burnt his arm on the radiator on the bathroom which was very very hot and had no warning signs. This definitely needs addressing.

    9MichellePosted on: 4-25-2025

Nice lounge and dog friendly. Good location.

Unfortunately 2 rowdy people in next room having a bath at 1pm in the morning. View was blocked by scaffolding. Stairs unsuitable for infirm.

Location was great and really friendly staff.

Didn't sleep at all! The walls are very thin in this hotel! You can hear whenever the neighbours use the bathroom, watch TV,talk,sneeze......everything! The room doors are quite heavy and squeaky, and when they are left to shut by themselves it is very loud with a great big bang! I know people should be more considerate, but surely the squeakiness could be sorted by maintenence at the very least! We were in a room at the end of the corridor, which had a door right outside ours to go down to reception. This just added to the noise we could already hear! What should have been a refreshing night away turned into a night of barely any sleep!!!
