The location and the staff was fabulous
The room was too small I booked a classic room and payed 150 a night it wasn't worth the price i was in room 24 the wallpaper was falling off the shower was right next to the radiator was offered another room but didnt take it as it was too far from the lift the food was good had the evening meal was expensive
Free parking ,location and nice room good breakfast and facilities
Room bit small no veiw
Ideal location .. car park although limited was available and plenty of parking around the side streets
No air con and no fan in room . Lift wasn’t working which was not good as there were a lot of residents who were struggling to get up the stairs
Excellent
Pillows lumpy and uncomfortable room was very small and dark
Very clean comfortable nice staff
Bathroom very small, easy to bang into something especially getting out of bath shower.
Great location within walking distance of the town centre. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly providing a nice atmosphere. On-site parking is available.Beds are comfortable providing a good nights sleep.Breakfast was very good with a nice choice of cold and cooked food.
No main issues.
Food was excellent. Everything was clean and in good order. Plenty of sitting areas. Car parking was perfectly good. Central for the sea side.
Bed looked lovely but very uncomfortable as very hard mattress. Everything else was very good. Couldn’t fault it.
Good Breakfast, quiet room
Bed a little too hard for my liking
Clean reasonably well furnished and quiet. Breakfast choices good and freshly prepared
The location is good with all amenities close by. The restaurant is very good with well prepared breakfast and the evening meals, especially the Pendle lamb, were excellent. Bed was very comfortable.
Still a little dated and some of the rooms need an upgrade. The bar is very limited and most of the time you have to ring for service.
Food was excellent - lovely presentation
Bedroom was small and hot. I asked for a roomWithout negotiating steps as I am disabled. This wasn’t provided and it meant it was difficult to get from room to reception/diningI complained and room was discounted by £10 a night
Location was good only a short walk to beach and amenities. The breakfast was excellent. The room was immaculate and all of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and polite
Friendly hotel. Clean and refurbished very recently. Informal atmosphere. Quiet area but handy for Lytham, Blackpool etc. Lots of computer/phone and appliance charging points. Well cleaned and serviced daily. Shower over bath constant. Temperature.
Would have preferred walk in shower but none available. Windows too high to open without being athletic...hard to change as very high rooms. Very early breakfast but lots of choice on menu.
Lovely location and weather was great. Staff lovely and breakfast was nice too.
All good
Plenty of choice, freshly prepared, I had a stomach reaction on both mornings after eating the breakfasts, not sure what was used to cook the items in.
As eighty year olds a ground floor bedroom would have been more appropriate, or a lift instead of stairs, a little decorating would not go amiss, doesn't look like it has been decorated for quite some time, we thought there was going to be some entertainment at night, there was none.
Breakfast staff were lovely, couldn’t fault them at all lovely approach.
When we arrived there was a quite a serious looking lady on reception. No welcome to the hotel, no engaging in conversion - I thought her manner was terrible. I’m a customer service Manager so I’m very aware st all times and look for great service. Disappointing. As we checked out, a group of guests pre 10.30 she received a call (enquiries I think from another possible guest) the conversation lasted a few mins, the queue was getting bigger. Eventually she asked the guest if she could call her back as she was checking people out! Something that could have been resolved sooner. The night porter was a great guy, I think Tony was his name, a lovely warm man who took his time to chat. O asked him if he enjoyed working for the hotel and he said he loved it and the proprietors were good to the staff and he was very happy at the hotel.
