    Pros +

    • Excellent food, service, cleanliness and venue.
    • All of the staff were excellent and very helpful. Our bedroom was cleaned really well and the our breakfasts were very nice. We had booked a dinner on our first evening and the food was so good we booked our dinners for the next 2 evenings. We also went in the "pub" for a drink after we had been out all day and the staff were nice too.We would recommend of the Rose and Crown to our friends and families and hopefully we will come back too.
    • Lovely room with very good facilities we had our dog with us and were made very welcome, our dog was allowed in all the areas we needed, there were treats in the bar and in our room for him and for us the food served was very good we would recommend it we had breakfast and evening meal ,the staff were all very friendly, We had a large bath with a power shower as well, they used local products from wine's to toiletries, We would recommend you book your evening meals as it can get busy, The pub is situated in the heart of Snettisham and is very easy to find with a large carpark at the rear,There are plenty of places to walk your dogs around the area as well.,all in all a very good break and will certainly return there as we had a great time .

    Cons -

    • Our room was in the old part of the building with a floor that's not level which is fine but the bed was also not level and sloped with the floor. I'd at least make sure the bed was levelled up.I'd also suggest there that an option in food portion sizes was available as portions were big and generous which is also fine but people who can't eat a lot then create a lot of waste when they can't finish their food so same menu but an option for a smaller portion at a slightly reduced price would avoid waste.
    • The rain but don't think you could help that :( :)
    • Basically, nothing. Oh, I could say there is a sharp turn into the carpark. that's all .

Great breakfast. Comfortable clean room. Plenty of parking. Easy to book on website.

Surrounded by trees so not so good regarding the bird droppings if you parked under them!

    Nothing, everything was great!

The breakfast was excellent. There was a lovely selection of breakfast juice, very nice bread or croissants, fresh fruit and an array of cereals. The menu for cooked breakfast was varied and extensive plus tea and coffee.

The evening dinner menu was somewhat limited, considering that there were few alternative places to eat.Having to go outside and in by another door, then climb 17 stairs to the upstairs rooms was a nuisance. Happily the weather was dry!

Lovely hotel nice comfortable rooms great location. Very dog friendly. Staff very nice and helpful. It’s a busy pub / restaurant and the quiet residents lounge with tea and coffee a very nice touch .

    Food didn’t quite meet expectations

Fabulous breakfast & evening meal. Room lovely & very dog friendly.

Needed more advice that external door would be locked overnight with no personnel on site as after popping outside for a walk at 12.30am without the room key or his phone as it was so hot in the room, my husband was unfortunately locked out & ended up sleeping in his car!

Lovely pub with rooms, extremely friendly on arrival showed us round, explained about the steep staircase from the pub and showed an alternative entrance to the rooms from the car park. Food and service was excellent, will definitely return and recommend.

    Absolutely nothing

We changed our Saturday evening plans and stayed in the Pub Garden, as such a beautiful evening and surrounding so tranquil, we enjoyed an amazing evening meal.

There wasn't anything not to like.
