Generous size room; very clean and comfortable with a nice view. Adequate parking. No personnel on site, but self check in was easy with the code and lock box provided to us.
Everything was great for a stopover on our journey through Scotland. We booked into the pub across the loch for an evening meal which was great. Very helpful to have the breakfast items in the fridge.
The only small problem was the pillows. They probably need replacing with more substantial ones.
We could not have picked a more picturesque location to stay while we visited Glen coe for two nights. We were within walking distance of a two and a half mile walk which goes past a beautiful waterfall, it was very manageable for us as beginners who didn't want a super long hike, there are multiple options for this however if you do want that. The ferry outside is free for pedestrians and we took it a couple of times, once for a walk the other side and once for dinner at the inn (definitely recommend, great food, not too pricey) The room is very nice, modern, good shower and they provide tea coffee, orange juice, milk and muffins :)
We got a little too hot in the night, as the underfloor heating is not controlled by inside the room. It was lovely and warm but a bit too much trying to sleep. That is only a small constructive opinion is if we could turn it up or down as required.
Comfortable bed.A very spacious room with plenty of storage space.Opening bi-fold doors giving onto a nice little deck with a stunning view across the loch.We appreciated the complimentary items stocked in the fridge and the daily room 'tidy-up'.Straightforward access to room with keysafe system.
Hopefully the restaurant will be open on a future visit.
The setting was outsranding
Restaurant and bar were closed. Road closures nearby
Absolutely everything about it! Very homely, great selection of goodies in the fridge, cosy and the location was fantastic
The absolutely only thing is maybe the temperature was a little too hot and we never knew how to turn it down but it wasnt anything drastic
Self check in. Location. Comfortable space..Self service breakfast. Convenient parking. It was a great midway stop on our journey and the free boat ride to the Ardgour Inn for dinner was a great experience
Nothing really. Not much can be done at this stage but it would be nice to have another window for the view.. Saying that, our trip was in winter and so not as much to miss ..the bathroom mirror light wasn't working but it was well lit as a room
Great location, clean and comfortable.
There was a little bit of mould in the caulking of the shower
Great room, warm and comfortable with breakfast supplies included
No restaurant or pub nearby
Lovely place, stunning view to wake up to! Clean and lovely room
Nothing it was perfect
Room was really good and location was superb
Took three calls to get an access code and there were no staff to help us.
The location is beautiful and so handy if you want to catch the Ferry. Rooms are cosy and the bed was so comfy. Fantastic shower didn't want to get out.Can park your car right outside property.
The only complaint I had was there was nowhere near to have a drink and some food. Took the ferry across to the other side and everything was closed. Headed back and needed to drive to go for dinner. Would have been nice to be near a little pub for some food and drinks.
Beautiful location and property was very nice. We booked a suite and it had a cosy feel. Quite large and spectacular views from outside of the balcony. Plenty of Parking and as the rooms are serviced, we were left with fresh milk, orange juices, water bottles, Yogurts and other snacks to make the stay comfortable. Fort Williams is 15 mins drive, and all other locations with great views of the mountains are with 1 hour range at max.
The only tiny negative was the issue with Wifi failing on occasions.
Its a well maintained room very comfortable and cozy its ideal for a 1-2 night stay
The views, the size of the suite, the decor were all incredible. The suite was peaceful, cosy, clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels, in the fridge there was milk and juice.
The balcony door, nor the bathroom window opened - both locked. And the heating was controlled centrally, it was too hot and damp after both using the shower. As it was off season for the area, there was no where close by for breakfast, so we checked out quite early to go and get food. The car park was closed and there was no where to park. All very minor things, and did not impact our stay. Thanks for having us, we will definitely stay again!
Really enjoyed our stay at The Corran. The room was comfy and very clean, with good facilities. It was very quiet and peaceful also. Thanks for the breakfast items left in the fridge.
Great location good views , nice fixtures fittings and complimentary snacks for breakfast
Unfortunately patio door faulty ,would have been nice to open both doors at weather was mild and spoiled the view , shower was mouldy and dirty around the bottom
