- Nothing really!
- Location was perfect for our stay. Hotel was well maintained, and a lovely view at breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay and was a really good choice.
- Got put into a room where the sofa was covered in white stains which I had absolutely no idea what this could have been!! Got moved to a bigger room which was at the back of the property so zero view infact awful view and was above kitchen so was like a sauna all night did not sleep a wink I am gutted because the place and staff are great.

Outstanding location and lovely staff and sheep. Bar food and breakfast was very good with great service.
Nothing I didn’t like
Location is perfect for walking Snowdon which was our primary purpose for visiting. Has a good restaurant and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay of a couple of nights. The restaurant evening menu was exceptional and a really pleasant surprise both in terms of quality and cost.
The property is a little tired and is in need of further refurbishment but is great value for a weekend away walking. Considering that one point there is little not to like otherwise.
Great location. Friendly staff, clean and decent quality decor
Limited evening dining options in Feb. Bar food only as restaurant only open Thursday- Saturday
Convenient, warm, comfortable, excellent food, friendly people
It's a nice location. The hotel is an old building that has a lot of quaintness about it. Friendly staff as well and overall quite a relaxed atmosphere. Also a very good function room.
The lack of a fridge in the rooms. I quite often have to travel with dairy free milk. Sometimes I am able to get sachets and other times not, so I would need a fridge to store the remainder. It's a common thing I find in general with UK hotels. I ended up opening the window and putting the milk on the sill to keep it cold. The price of the restaurant food is also quite high. Also I noted, although this doesn't affect me, that there's a lot of steps. The lifts are also small, which is fine due to the age of the building, but some people with access needs may find it tricky to navigate. I would recommend contacting the hotel directly for access information.
Breakfast was good, very friendly staff.
Window rattled in the wind.
Location was excellent, breakfast okay, The view from the restaurant was excellent. Also it is very close to the town so you could just walk around to explore.
I was there around 30 mins early than the mentioned check in time at 15:00. The room was in fact ready but I was not allowed to check in and had to wait. That as kind of rude to me.
I just like the location nothing else
The some of the staff was rude compared to the location too much price not all facilities and WiFi just show off doesn’t work at all i don’t recommend
We had a great stay here - the location was ideal for exploring Snowdonia, even if you're not planning to tackle the mountain. Breakfast was great, bed was comfy, and the staff were super helpful and friendly!
clean room, tasty breakfast, hot shower
better sound insulation from adjoining room
Historic property to stay, very cosy from step one, breakfast were included - excellent variety. Staff were very quick, upon my departure they informed I left my charger and gave me in minutes time! Bath was tiny but wonderful.
The food they had in the evening was a bit off, maybe it was unlucky, but seemed that the fish was not fresh
Location was perfect for my travels! & Parking was easy. Staff was very kind.
My toilet was not flushing and I had told the front desk about the issue, however nothing was done. I understand the person working at the front desk had attempted to have someone look at it, however no one did. I do think the layout is 'funky', a little bit of a maze but I did not mind too much.
Location. Rooms. Gardens.
Cost of the food in the bar. Cost of the drinks.
Location, staff friendliness, breakfast, updated bedroom
Bathroom tired
The room we booked was excellent. Great size. Great views. The breakfast was really nice. And all the staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much. We stayed an extra day.
I loved the huge bed that was extremely comfortable.
We had to walk outside to get into the main building
Staff and food
Could have been better bathroom
