Pros +
- Evening dinner was good, however just four choices on the menu. The room was spacious but was a little "tired" as were other areas other than the restraunt. Breakfast was again good but had it not been included it was expensive in my opinion for what it was and the young staff were too keen to take orders ... even before we'd had chance to view the menu.
- Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Good food. Exxellent location.
- Clean room and good location.
Cons -
- Not being asked at check-in to register a credit card then going to the bar, getting drinks and having to return to receiption to register funds. NOT IMPRESSED!!!
- Pool was small but funtional however the roof leaked (may have been condensation) and the sauna was not working.
- Breakfast was over priced, taxi journey 2mins down the road was £15!

Very peaceful clean lovely setting
Lack of plug sockets in room as I gave a CPAP machine and was very limited use of sockets
Serene and tranquil location. Accommodation fresh and clean. Dining area great setting with glorious views across the golf course and countryside. Plentiful parking.
Nothing to dislike
Was grateful that I was able to book a suite so my child could sleep in the lounge area. The side bed was made up at my request. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent.
The decoration is a little tired.
Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very peaceful . lovely winter setting.
This is our second visit. We cant think of any improvements.
Very comfortable, spacious rooms and access to many facilities , spa and gym very clean
Room got a bit too hot at night , but that might be personal preference
Very attentive staff. Room was exceptionally big with a sofa. Comfortable bed.
Clean, big rooms.
Room was very far away from amenities, so put me off using swimming pool and it was easier for me to order room service than walk to the restaurant.
The staff were friendly. It was clean.
The decor was a little dated.
This is primarily a golf club with rooms which are functional but very comfortable and clean. Our room (we were ungraded) featured views over the golf course. Room lacks 'homely' touches but we were only sleeping in it! Loads of storage space and bathroom facilities were great. Evening meal in the functional bar was fine - pub grub. Breakfast (included in the price) was fantastic - great cold buffet and fresh cooked choices were delicious. Service throughout the hotel was very good.
Access to the swimming pool was included - pool small but was fine. However, some of the time spent there was spoilt by screaming noisy children/toddlers. No hotel supervision of the area. The changing area was tiny and floor soaking wet, which was not good.
upgraded room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent.
Temperature control in room didn't work which was a pain because of cold weather. But reception provided freestanding heater.
The swimming pool the room the bar and everything was excellent
Dale Hill is a good place to stay to explore the local area or to stay in and chill. The golf courses are great and the other golf facilities are also good quality although like with most courses in the winter, it is susceptible to getting a little soggy. The rooms are well worn but clean with nice bathrooms. We stayed in a Suite this visit and it was handy to have the separate room for our son to sleep. I would say that on both visits we've had to Dale Hill, the rooms have been a little pricey for what you get but not terribly so. The reception staff are very helpful and always friendly. It's easy to get parked and there is plenty of space. Overall a pleasant visit.
We had previously stayed back in November and the food was amazing but I'm not sure if the chef had changed or something as the food on this visit was nowhere near as good. Items were burnt/ over cooked. The service in the restaurant on the first night was slow and the serving staff were a little abrupt when I questioned an error with my order. This was really disappointing as we had previously had some lovely meals there. We used the swimming pool for the first time and it was late in the day and you could tell. The changing rooms had more water in them than the pool and the loo was pretty manky. I couldn't help but notice the amount of hair that was floating around the pool which was very off putting. We had planned to make this our base when visiting the area, but we might consider other options in future.
Breakfast was very good.I did not have a mean in the evening.
The hotel was on a golf course.Plenty of parking
Conveniently situated and quiet with good parking
It was an excellent experience at DH, location was great, staff at the reception-Tony, friendly, professional and very helpful- a decent gentleman. Emma from the kitchen very thoughtful and considerate, the breakfast team all wore a genuinely welcoming smile and very friendly. They were very flexible with breakfast options, I only wished it was the traditional buffet style where you select what you want, but great quality nonetheless.Rooms were sizeable, very clean, fast internet, very quiet, bright if you want or dark with thick blinds, my son enjoyed the golf range, lovely decor-only wished TV was slightly bigger in size but it wasn’t a problem for us.Overall a fantastic experience, will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
