Really lovely and helpful staff. Great location next to the river and with just a short walk to the town. Breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast high quality plenty of parking space great location for access into Rye

Smell of cigarette smoke on entry to hotel lobby as smoking area just outside main entrance This was the first impression when we arrived and as non smokers not a pleasant welcome . The smell of stale cigarettes lingered too essential oils often used in other hotels could easily rectify and moving the smoking area too would improve forst impression on arrival to hotel considerably

Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel was in a fantastic location.

Window didnt open in our room. Pillows were hard.

Location of the hotel was good for exploring Rye with only a short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee, shower was hot with good water pressure.We had a room overlooking the river and despite being on the main road there was no road noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Finally the full English was good and the other choices were good and well cooked and presented. Whether you stay for a weekend or just one night you will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at The River Haven Hotel. The hotel is full of character, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for exploring Rye. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay. A charming hotel we would happily return to and recommend without hesitation.

External lighting /signage .completely dark could not find property ..drove and walked around asking for directions

All was ok but could do with a little update maybe in bathroom area and we didn’t visit with a dog so that could be off putting as think all rooms dog friendly
