Weald of Kent Golf Course and Hotel

Another great find via this application. Spacious rooms and helpful staff. Was notified on arrival that they were part of Kent that had issues with the water supply though in the room, the water seemed fine. Food was good in the restaurant/bar.

The only quibble is that the rooms are some distance from the venues reception.

Rooms were a great size, clean and tidy. Food was excellent and all freshly cooked to order.

Would have like a breakfast box to be available for early departures.

Although there was a private function and we were notified before our stay that the restaurant would be closed, the very helpful reception lady advised that they would be able to provide food. Staff here were all excellent and very friendly. The surroundings were lovely and we were able to eat outside.There was a prom going on and although our room was opposite the venue for this we only heard a small amount of noise, and only early on - don't let this put you off staying here, it is an ideal place if you are going on to Folkestone.

Food was only ok. And unfortunately, like other visitors, we found the water pressure for the shower (we were in the annexe building) was quite inadequate.. The room and the entire annexe building also smelt a little musty.

Unpleasant receptionist with very rude and pretentious behavior. The room was small, had a very unpleasant smell, with old, sweat-soaked pillows and duvets, dirty sheets, mold on the bathroom walls, and poorly soundproofed doors—you could hear everything happening in the hallway. I do not recommend this place.

Location, air con, convenience

Smell of sewage plant near the barn as you walked past, other guests being noisy and inconsiderate at night and a lovely 5am wake up call.Dark brown hairs on towels (I am blonde so they weren’t mine), dark brown hairs in bath mats.Dusty and in need of a deep clean.Lights above bed didn’t work.

Lovely surroundings. Great golf course.

Could not get the air conditioning to cool down. Lots of road noise through the night. Double glazed windows were not sound proofing.

Easy check-in. Liked the gymnasium. Lovely, tranquil location overlooking the 9th green.

Bed was fine but I prefer firmer

The hotel was very clean and I found the staff to warm and welcoming

Good parking for my truck, comfortable and quiet rooms, good evening meal and excellent quality breakfast, good TV and WiFi.

Nothing to complain about.

I loved the golf course views. One lady who run breakfast was particularly friendly and on the ball.

I thought a checkout of 10am was just too early. Took a long time for staff to clear tables of drinks or food.

Room was a good size, in a modern annexe with keycard access. Very quiet and peaceful location set back from the road.Breakfast was great - served between 7 and 10.30am in the restaurant with views of the lake and golf course. Choice of full English (meat or vegetarian), eggs Benedict, breakfast bap, avocado on toast or pancakes, and a buffet of fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurts etc.The staff were all friendly and helpful.15 minute drive to Sissinghurst Castle Garden.

Only thing I can think of to improve is some nicer toiletries in the bathroom rather than an all in one shampoo/body wash.

Really very friendly staff nice food and great value for money and close to national trust sights. Would book again

Location was good as it was close to family.

Staff a little rude and unhelpful apart from one barman whose name I didn't catch.

We arrived at the reception and the lady that was on the desk was very robotic as if she was reading from a screen. I said it was my partner‘s birthday and she totally ignored me! I wasn’t looking for an upgrade but thought she might say happy birthday but no …… No personality whatsoever..

Bed was not very comfortable and there was only one chair in the room given the fact that it was a double room and there was plenty room for another chair one of us had to sit on the bed which wasn’t good!
