OYO Devonshire Park Hotel

Great location close to the seafront and theatre, a very clean facilities, a large room, with good selection of teas and coffee, a comfortable bed and professional customer service.

This is a comfortable hotel in a good location in Eastbourne. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast is very good indeed - well cooked, and with proper ingredients like tomato halves instead of tinned, real mushrooms not tinned. And it has its own parking in an area where it is hard to find a space on the surrounding streets.

Possible an update to the decor, but this is a small point. It is a comfortable hotel!

Lovely building. Great location. On site parking. We stayed in the devonshire suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The room has a small outside area too. The location was very quiet as the room faced a large garden so no passing traffic etc. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows! We will definitely be returning! Oh and the gentleman on reception was very friendly and welcoming too.

Good value, comfortable, spacious with all you need in the room. Also kept room at a nice temperature.

Close proximity to theatre and the staff were wonderful, Jackie in the breakfast room was lovely and so welcoming as was the guy on reception when we arrived (sorry I forgot his name) who gave us a lot of very useful information and was so friendly

The hotel is a little tired around the edges but aren't we all, the bed was very hard but that's personal preference and the curtains didn't really fit

Unfortunately the bathroom radiator was extremely hot which caused us to have a poor sleep, but we should have spoken to the staff who would have sorted it out - so our fault not to mention it!

The room was quaint and had all the amenities we needed for our overnight stay. The hotel car park being located right next to the property also gave me added peace of mind. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We were woken twice by cleaning staff in the morning. At around 8:00am, a staff member was speaking very loudly on their phone outside our room while accessing the supply closet next door, which was unpleasant and unprofessional.At around 8:30am, there was a knock on our door followed immediately by the door being opened without any announcement or apology. While the door lock had not been fully turned, the lack of basic procedure and consideration for guest privacy was concerning.I reported this to reception, who were understanding, but I have not received any follow-up. Overall, this significantly impacted our stay.

The location is very good for the seafront. The room was comfortable and had everything needed. The man on reception when I was checking out was very friendly.

Breakfast could have had more choice (there was a continental set up and then you had a limited choice of things to order).

This is a super comfortable, clean, and spacious hotel. Our rooms were huge, well stocked with lovely teas, coffee water and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent. Anything you could want , delicious freshly cooked hot breakfasts, an array of choice both hot and cold food including pastries fruit salads, full English both with meat and vegetarian options.The staff were always helpful and made sure things ran smoothly . A huge thanks to the team including Hugh and Mark on the front desk and Patricia, Arantxa and Svetlana in the breakfast room. The Devonshire Park Hotel is the perfect place to relax. We shall return! Almost everything. Cosy, comfortable, spacious room. Sparkling bathroom. Staff, without exception, were fabulous.

WiFi was a problem, continuously dropping off during three night stay.

The quietness and luxuriousness

Parking. The hotel car park is very small and if trying to park on a nearby road do so before Eastbourne College finishes for the day

Building looked aged, many knocks and tears to wall paper in the room.

Everyone was kind, helpful and lovely room and space
