The Fairburn Hotel

The room was absolutely amazing. Clean spacious and so well equipped. Decor was fantastic, and bed oh so comfy.

car park is a free to use public car park around the corner from the hotelsmokey / damp smell in the landing / staircase area but NOT in any other part of the hotel

Excellent service from the man on reception, room was spotlessly clean and bed comfortable. We had a meal which was excellent and good value, bit of a delay in the service due to ordering error. Staff apologised for this and we were offered a complimentary drink.

Only niggle was the traffic noise from the road outside which is not the hotels fault. There are ear plugs in the room which we did not need as traffic eases later in the night.

This totally spoiled our stay

The room we were given had a very unpleasant smell in the room. The second room was better but damp musky smell in corridor and stairs

In the heart of the village of Mauchline. Very pleasant little hotel.Great Robbie Burns museum practically next door. Well worth a visit.

No separate lounge area from the bar/dining room.

Breakfast was beautiful , room spotless , bed was super comfy , provided a fan for coolness and white noise. Shower was excellent. Tea and coffees provided for the room as well as an iron and hairdryer.

Very helpful staff. I cycled to the hotel and they made sure it was stored securely. Room was very comfortable and warm. Decor was tasteful and modern. I especially liked the food and the flexibility shown by the staff. A good value experience overall.

Nice friendly staff, clean and tidy, good evening meal and breakfast, and easy parking. Good value and would recommend.

Comfortable room, good shower, friendly staff, nice garden, good food, reasonable prices.

Unsurprisingly there was some traffic noise, especially with the window open (which was needed, as it was very warm). But not enough to prevent us from a good night's sleep.

Girl on reception was excellent, and she was our waitress for dinner 10/10
