Beautifully presented property, well maintained, very clean and tidy and a room with a sea view!
Great location, just loved the cakes etc on arrival, excellent honesty bar, lovely rooms & views, on site parking and fabulous breakfast!
Nothing!
We had no idea where we had booked - only finding out from friends once in the UK about Nathan Outlaw.( we are from Melbourne)What a wonderful welcome from the beautiful Stephanie- we arrived as strangers- left as friends. The coffee and cake to welcome us was a nice touch. The whole place was very warm and clean and comfortable. The food was lovely at both the guest house and restaurant- We are heading back to spread the word - Thank you for a great relaxing break -
Couldn’t stay longer
Fantastic place spotless and welcoming on arrival couldn’t do enough for you during our stay and excellent hospitality and breakfast was fresh and very tasty by Nathan
Breakfast was a 10. Stephanie is a fantastic host. The room is very comfortable and well appointed.
Not all rooms can have a view, just turned out we didn't get a view... this time
Staff are very friendly and welcoming.Nice location.
For the price, the rooms are incredibly small.Breakfast was nice, but the sausage and black pudding were dry.Unless you are booking this as a package with the restaurant, it's worth your while looking for cheaper accommodation in the area.
This is such a fantastic place to stay. The guest house overlooks the sea, has its own car park and the staff go out of their way to make you welcome. We arrived just after 4pm and were served tea and delicious home made scones and biscuits on a table looking out over the sea. Our room was very comfortable and clean with tea and coffee making facilities (real coffee) and homemade shortbread biscuits. We stayed for 3 nights so had 3 amazing breakfasts! The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're happy and have everything you need. We needed a slightly earlier breakfast one morning and this was no trouble. We would definitely consider coming back and have recommended it to friends who have booked to stay early next year. Can highly recommend!
Friendly, helpful staffLovely viewsGreat breakfast Comfortable bed
Every aspect was outstanding from the moment we walked in the door to when we left 3 days later. All the staff were very engaging and helpful. The breakfasts were the highlight of our meals while away. We didn’t eat at the Outlaw restaurants on this trip, but after the breakfasts in the B&B we will be next trip. The room and en-suite were very well presented and spotlessly clean. Cake or cream tea on arrival and each afternoon was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a superb experience.
Nothing, really nothing.
Everyone so friendly and welcoming, especially the lady at breakfast who was very kind after we had had a terrible nights sleep (not their fault). Lovely breakfast, comfortable room. We will definitely be back.
We were in Room 6. We found the pillows much too soft, no support for your head or neck. Mirror in bathroom which is lit up (albeit dimly) all the time when there is a glass window above the bathroom door is not conducive to sleep (white light shining into the whole bedroom constantly). We sadly had a terrible night with security lights at the back of the property next door turning on and off ALL night. On for a minute or so, then off and within seconds back on again! We barely slept and ended up very upset and it caused a lot of anxiety. The lady at breakfast was so apologetic and understanding of how upset we were. We were offered a full credit because of this and it has not put us off and we will book again soon, although for a front room instead ?
Delighted with our room which was more of a suite with separate lounge area . Warmly greeted by Steph on arrival with offers of drinks and biscuits . (Much appreciated after a long journey ) . Breakfast outstanding. Loved the kedgeree! Breakfast staff lovely .
The friendly owners and staff, the food, the luxurious touches, great beds and spotlessly clean. Loved the balcony. A real treat is the afternoon cakes and scones in the lounge, which also has an honesty bar with top notch drinks.
Warm friendly staff, lovely layout in bedroom (gonna buy a Dyson fan now), the breakfast was fabulous
Good variety of hot breakfast options. Delicious freshly made cinnamon scrolls. Fresh juices. We left early on last day and Nathan kindly made us bacon and egg sandwiches ‘to go’.On arrival we were greeted with coffee and cake.
We managed but the standard room was a little small for our large suitcases. Otherwise very happy.
Very friendly and helpful staffSuperb location and viewsExceptional facilities
The Location was great. Stunning views across the sea from the outside decking. A 15 minute walk along a coastal path down into Port Isaac. Coming back up the path is a bit of a climb and you need a torch at night, or you can walk back through the town. The hotel was just lovely. The hotel is well equipped and has wonderful friendly staff, especially Rachel. Parking is on site-always a bonus in Cornwall! Rooms are well equipped and clean. There are nice touches of hospitality in the free tea/coffee and homemade buns/cookies available through the day, a welcome card etc. Breakfasts are very satisfying and there is a very good choice of options. We loved the friendly atmosphere and cosy rooms.
We didn’t have any real criticisms, other than the room we had was a bit tight for getting around the bed.
Nathan and Rachel's team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Port Issac is a beautiful place to visit. The stay at Outlaws made the visit even more enjoyable. Many thx for a great experience.Night at fish restaurant for sharing menu was an experience not to be missed
Couldn't question a thing.I would advise visitors to look out for a tight turn at the top of the drive from the car park?
The staff was amazing !! We got a call when we didn’t arrive at our estimated time just to check that we were ok. Wanted to make sure we were not lost or anything. Very caring. The view from front of hotel is breathtaking! Room was very clean, comfortable and nice. Breakfast very good. Would definitely recommend if staying in Port Isaac!
