    Pros +

    • Lovely place in a very convenient location for getting around London, with a great pub downstairs. What truly made the stay unforgettable was the staff - Stan, Josh, Laurent, and Telia were exceptional throughout. Thank you all, I’ll definitely be back next time. Highly recommended
    • Good place and stayed there many times before, the room keys very often stop working and you find yourself locked out of the room
    • Location, cleanliness are major positive elements.

    Cons -

    • The staff could have been a little more polite.Price could be slightly less not much.
    • Towels are an extra fee
    • One of the things I didn’t like was that check-in was at 3:00 p.m., and I had to wait until that time with no flexibility. The building is relatively old and does not have an elevator, which made going up to the room difficult, especially with luggage. The main entrance of the building is narrow, and guests have to carry their luggage up the stairs by themselves due to the lack of an elevator. The breakfast was very basic and below expectations.

The location is excellent, very close to Liverpool Street Station, which makes getting around London easy. The hostel is quiet, and the room was clean and well maintained, with regular cleaning by the housekeeping staff. The beds are comfortable, providing a good night’s sleep. The level of security in the hostel is good and reassuring, and Wi-Fi is available and works well. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, especially for those looking for a calm place to rest.

    Great location.

The room was ok. But the bathroom was really bad. It was a shared toilet and bathroom. I couldn’t use bathroom because it was really bad smelling. I don’t know they cleaned but it was terrible.

Location close to the station, clean and quiet .

No kitchen :( no proper hangout place .

Great location right near the train station. The pub had great food and drinks. The bed was comfortable for a hostel bed

If you have large luggage it will be hard getting up the steps

For the price of 55 pounds this 'corner pub come hostel' had a nice room even a kitchenette, hot water a proper heater etc. included. For two people 27.5 pounds each would have been more than a bargain.

The price made it work. If I had paid over 85 pounds I would have comments to make about the quality but a hostel type place is exactly that so no need to complain for what I paid for.

Convenient location and good price. 24h reception. I really appreciated the usb charging sockets at my bunk, because I had forgotten to bring a UK socket adaptor.

The door was really heavy and not silent so it was a bit difficult to keep it quiet when moving around and not disturb others. But that is not a serious problem.

Very Bad . Not pic my phone. Den I back and take another hotel. It’s a very bad experience in my life.

Because they are not communicating to customers. I wet for 1 hour and calling more than 30/40 times but they are not responding.

    Clean and comfy. Central area.

Check in is in a busy bar which is quite intimidating after a long day of travel and with a huge suitcase. Have to push in amongst people drinking there. One staff member was friendly but the other one didn’t seem as though she wanted to help much. Also had to carry a very heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. Would only recommend if you are travelling lightly.

Great location (walking distance to Liverpool Station, easy access, very kind staff

    10KamleshPosted on: 12-18-2025

The staff were absolutely lovely and cooperative, they let me drop my baggage before and after my stay. They were very polite and well spoken throughout and accommodating to requests. The bar is lovely and has decent food and drinks. The property itself is very central in Liverpool and has a great old world charm to the architecture.

I wish there was an elevator since the spiral staircase was narrow and I had to lug my suitcase all the way up.

    Location

I felt cramped and women and men stayed in the same room.

    8SarafPosted on: 12-8-2025

It’s very close the main Liverpool street station and there are a lot of cool places around

There was no lift at the property so carrying the bags upstairs was a bit difficult
