Aethos Hotel London Shoreditch

Wonderful breakfast, beautiful decor, lovely staff

We found our room noisier than we'd hoped as our room was directly across from the housekeepers cupboards and was frequently opened and closed during our stay. It was our 1 night away from kids to catch up on sleep and we didn't manage it due to noise

Gorgeous quiet room. Clean and loads of space. Huge bed. Pillow menu. Dyson Hairdryer. Cracking shower.

I love the lighting in the room and loved how comfy our robes were. The location is perfect so close to all the great restaurants and bars. The staff was so amazing and caring. I forgot my ring and they shipped it to me!!

Uber gets confused on where to pick you up. So you either need to walk or find a convenient spot for pick up.

Cosy and modern, very clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and went out their way to make our stay extra special. Loved the bathroom and lighting. Breakfast was really 10/10

Very modern, clean and good location

I really appreciated how quiet the hotel was, and the room itself was very comfortable — even if not particularly large, as often happens with English standards. The bed was extremely cozy, made even better by the topper that added an extra layer of comfort.The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points: the nearest tube station, Old Street on the Northern Line, is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the whole area is fantastic and full of vibrant energy. You can find absolutely everything you need right around the corner.

The only aspects I didn’t enjoy were related to the bathroom. The shower was spacious, but since the door couldn’t be fully closed, I often felt cold while using it. The toilet didn’t flush properly, and the absence of a toilet brush was definitely noticeable.

The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent and allowed for a restful night’s sleep. The hotel has a warm and pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout the stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was very tasty, with a wide selection of fresh options to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet, high quality place to stay. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to the metro and bus stops.

Nice bathroom

My room was next to the lounge and it was way too loud until midnight. Also the rooms were not even sound proof from the hallway. Normal chatting from the hall gets amplified in the room.Wasn’t easy to turn off all the lights.

I chose Aethos for my birthday stay in London and it was truly exceptional.My birthday dinner at a nearby restaurant was canceled very last minute. We were incredibly frustrated, but the hotel concierge, Erel, went above and beyond for us and solved the problem immediately. He personally ran over to a new restaurant and was able to secure a reservation. We had a fabulous dinner!The hotel lobby, store, and rooms are gorgeously designed. There’s a really warm and chic atmosphere, a refreshing difference from the usual rigidness of London. The little details are everything here, with lovely Christmas decorations, free mince pies, an in-room speaker, cozy robes, and a 5 star gym. And of course, the friendliest staff I’ve yet to meet in a hotel!I highly recommend a stay at Aethos Shoreditch and I can’t wait for my next!

I couldn’t find a UK outlet in the bathroom, and the toilet was really difficult to flush but those are the only downsides of the property
