We were welcomed in by James who assisted with checking in and answered a few queries we had promptly and efficiently. The rooms were fabulous; especially the shower with all the lights, sounds and different settings. It was such a vibe. There were magic touches and surprises all around the room.The location was perfect - close enough to Liverpool Street for main connections. The team were super at organising taxis as and when required. Lots of interesting places around the hotel to explore. Breakfast was delicious. There was an abundance of choice. The bar and dining area was clean, relaxing and had a feel good atmosphere. There was inspiration all around and plenty of seating. We admired the art and the design. Overall, a sleek, smart, special place to stay, We would love to come back soon.

It took a moment to figure out how to use the lift with the key as the space to tap the key was dark and almost camouflaged. There are stairs, however, to reach the reception area and a warm, welcoming team to assist with any queries.

Good location, easy to find and near to public transport. Large comfortable bed and extra pillows in the drawer underneath. Room was fully controlled by an iPad and could cast to the tv and had access to a mini fridge.Rooms so also have a safe but we didn’t need to use this.

Noticed a lot of crumbs on the side of the mattress against the wall

Good location, about 3 mins from overground train station. The view was great, and I liked how you could control everything via the in-room iPad. Room was small but was fine for what we needed. There is a self-check in process but a very helpful staff member assisted us upon arrival.

I feel where it fell down was no little extras, like free bottles of water, etc. Maybe we were in the most basic room. In. Any case, I would probably stay here again.

Location was handy, walking distance to one of the London markets, not too far from the train station. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing seemed like a problem and they were always happy to help any time of the day or night which made the experience of the stay so much better. Bed is great, comfortable. The view from the 9th floor is very nice. The room is overall quite charming.

The heating system sometimes made annoying noises. There was a temporary smell coming from the sewage whenever the sink or shower was used.

You can’t use the lift from the entrance when you first arrive as you need a key to operate it. Makes getting your bags up to check in a bit annoying. Rooms are very small but clean and well designed.

A good central location in Shoreditch. Sound proofing of the room was excellent, even with a venue/club next to the hotel and overground close by.

For a 4* hotel, I would expect have to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. Extra pillows that were stored underneath the bed didn't appear to be clean upon inspection and the pillow that was on the bed was a bit lumpy.

Great location just off the high street

A very off putting smell was present in the shower. I reported it twice and nothing was done about it.

I never write reviews but I had such a good experience and stay at citizenM Shoreditch I had to write a review. I absolutely loved the lighting in the room which was controlled by the iPad. The staff were also excellent especially Dafnia (I don’t remember how to spell her name) who was so friendly and accommodating! The room was clean and a good size and I’d definitely come back again

Only thing was the TV stopped working during my stay but I was leaving the next day so I didn’t inform staff

Very cute little hotel room. They are quite small but that's exactly what's advertised. The location couldn't be more perfect and we truly appreciated all the options around the hotel. Would stay again if for one or two nights.

There was nothing we didn't like. The check in and check out was very simple and straightforward. I can't point towards anything negative however if you stayed for more than one night, it might feel too congested in the room.

Always stay in CitizenM in London , Amsterdam or Rotterdam.This time didn’t got any white plastic cup next to the sink and no tissue next to it too.

I really like the CitizenM brand for a boutique business hotel. It is very hassle free and comfortable.

It would be great to have a glass in the room for water. I think you can get them from the bar downstairs but this is something that was missing.

The room had cool features, such as the lighting and nice city view with the trains that you got to choose on check in.

Everything was great.
