Location from airport and price.
The best i liked about the hotel was that it met my expectations. The location was good, 15 minutes walking from the Luton London Airport. The room was cosy and had everything necessary, and was also clean. The staff was helpful and available at all times

What it's best is the location. It's literally just 2min walking from the train station or bus stop. 5start for the location. Staff was ok. Internet ok too. The room was clean, just a few hair on the bed sheets which there weren't mine.
Good value for money. Ok for a one night stay

Cleanliness
Location next door to the Luton National Rail Station was very convenient for us to take day trips into London. Breakfast was typical fare. Rooms clean and quiet - we barely heard jets at all.
the train to London was right around the corner one minute away. :)

Top Tips
- Book Stansted hotel stays 4 to 6 weeks in advance for peak seasons like summer (July-August) to save $15 to $20 (approx. £12–£16) per night compared with last-minute rates. This is especially effective at major chains such as Radisson Blu or Premier Inn.
- Check that the UK’s 20% VAT (Value Added Tax) is included in your hotel rate, as this is usually shown upfront. Verifying VAT avoids unexpected $15 to $19 (approx. £12–£15) per night at checkout.
- Prioritize hotels within 2 km (1.2 miles) of the Stansted terminal, such as Radisson Blu, for direct access within 5 to 10 minutes and a $6 to $10 (approx. £5–£8) savings on airport transfers.
- Use contactless payment methods widely accepted at Stansted hotels to avoid ATM fees of $2 to $6 (approx. £1.50–£5) per transaction and reduce the need to handle cash.
- Request step-free or ramp access in advance, as about 70% of Stansted-area hotels offer elevators and accessible features in line with UK standards under the Equality Act (2010).
- Verify Wi-Fi speeds if you plan remote work; Premier Inn and similar chains at Stansted typically provide averages around 80 Mbps, suitable for video calls and streaming.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) when asked to pay in your home currency at hotel terminals and select GBP (£) instead to avoid a 2 to 4% markup, typically $3 to $8 (approx. £2.50–£6.50) on a $150 (£120) bill.
- Confirm hotel shuttle service times for early or late flights; some only run between 04:00 and 23:00, which may mean incurring a $19 to $32 (approx. £15–£25) taxi cost outside those hours.
- Consider hotels in nearby towns like Bishop's Stortford for rates 15 to 25% lower, saving $19 to $32 (approx. £15–£25) per night compared to immediate airport hotels, but factor in extra transport time and cost.
- Be aware of potential aircraft noise near the runways; check reviews for soundproofing or choose a hotel farther from the airport perimeter for a quieter stay.
- Utilize free hotel Wi-Fi for browsing (5 to 15 Mbps). For streaming or large uploads, a paid upgrade typically offers 50+ Mbps for $6 to $13 (approx. £5–£10) per day.
- Inquire about complimentary luggage storage if you arrive before check-in, as most Stansted hotels offer this so you can explore the airport or local area before your room is ready.
