The Britannia Inn and Restaurant

The coziness of the room and delicious breakfast.

None at all.

Clean great food and lovely staff

Nothing all was perfect

The room was very comfortable and extremely clean, well equipped and I couldn't ask for more. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent.

Being really picky - My room was on the roadside of the building, the road is a busy road but ultimately this can't be helped.

Very helpful staff, nice room with a good shower. We had got wet on our walk and so the receptionist kindly took our boots to get them dry in a drying room. The food was good and as I had an early train to catch in the morning they very kindly provided me with an early breakfast which was much appreciated.

Its a very large complex and we seemed to have been put in a room the furthest away from the main part of the hotel. On the plus side it was quiet.

Lovely property with great staff. The grounds were spotless and clean with loads for the kids to do. Nice food

Getting in late at night.

The room was very nice and cosy. Toilet clean and new with a very comfortable shower. Next to the room there was also a small seating area. The food was good at the hotel restaurant. Parking available as well and all the staff was very kind and welcoming.

The staff are lovely. I've recently had a hip op, and they did everything possible to give us a room with not so many stairs, walk-in shower, perfect. Good food at the restaurant too.

Clean, modern, great location, great staff, very helpful. Spacious room, ample parking and tasty breakfast

Mattresses really good but not our usual style but that’s a personal preference

It was clean and the staff were lovely.

The first room was very small with the most uncomfortable sofa bed. The staff moved us the next day to a different room. The room was fine but not the luxurious rooms that were displayed online, clean but basic, not what we expected for £200 a night! The bar was nice but very busy with lots of youngsters who liked swearing quite loudly, not the quiet, family friendly bar it showed online.

Very nice room, spacious and very clean with good facilities. We were visiting the Eden project and this is within 10 minutes. The staff on reception were friendly and welcoming.

Room ambience satisfactory. Had lovely shower and was very ckean

On busy main road.. not expected from photos and misleading name. Not being allowed in main restaurant. Continental breakfast offering poor with very cheap products and cheap biscuits in bedroom. Pre buttered toast at breakfast .. not really A A 4* quality! All internal doors locked at 9 pm making moving around hotel difficult.

Lots of parking Lovely rooms Nice food Lovely staff

Food and staff fantastic, accommodation a nightmare to find as a lot of the doors you remember on the introduction walk around to find your room are subsequently locked later in the night 2200 hours. I had to ask a staff member for help finding a way to my room, and even she had ask a colleague to unlock an access door. Very poor service, and annoying.

The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard, the quality of the sheets towels etc is really good, the bathroom was kitted out beautifully! Double shower with plenty of hot water ! Very tastefully decorated with great fitting. Food super… great value and very well presented. We visited for a family occasion that was held in the restaurant on Wednesday … wonderful menu. 3 courses provided for us all ( 20 family members) celebrating my godmothers 65th wedding anniversary. Thank you so very much for making every thing so wonderful and memorable !! See you again for the next wedding anniversary or we have a big birthday next year ??? thank you very much

The food was great, we loved the breakfast! our room was large and comfortable and clean! Staff were very friendly too.

The property was very clean, lovely rooms, comfortable bed, food was very good and the staff all very helpful, the only thing which marked the score from a 10 was we could hear upstairs snoring and walking around in the night
