Laichmoray Hotel

Great dinner, and breakfast served to your table after having made my choice of food the night before. Far better than the usual buffet served by a lot of hotels.

Great location next to train station and close to town center. Excellent bar staff and restaurant

The room was clean but small, more tight than other locations that we stayed during our visit. The breakfast was good, they had you order in advance and determine your dining time so that it was quicker that way.

Didn't care for the room being so small but that wasn't a deal breaker.

Comfortable and spacious room. Clean and well-appointed. Great parking in front of the hotel. Really nice. Very friendly staff, always ready to offer assistance. Hotel bar very enjoyable too.

A very good breakfast although had to order the night before. (which is not what I would normally prefer)Bed and bathroom vboth exceeded expectations.

Used one of the single rooms. Clean and sufficient for work needs. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Dinner menu was varied and fine for a short stay. Pre booking breakfast is a little odd but works well.

I know it was a small room and space is limited, but the sink on top of the toilet sistern was not handy for those with a bad back.

The stuff was plenty and welcoming. The room very clean, the bath very nice and relaxing after a long drive. Breakfast was good. We also had a good dinner at the hotel. The lounge was nice and comfortable.

There isn't a loyalty scheme of computer-ised pre-check in in sight here. But if you are looking for a welcome by the fantastic staff just the way hotels used to be, look no further! I would say the friendliness, hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was the stand-out feature, but the public areas of the hotel were also great, as was the food in the restaurant, which was also quite reasonably priced. I arrived by train, and the location was unbeatable - right next to the station, but only a short walk to the town centre.

Very little. My budget single room on the top floor was quite comfortable; the bathroom was so tiny that the hand basin was combined with the toilet. Not a problem to me however. It's also worth being aware that there are a lot of stairs.

Delicious Breakfast served by lovely waitresses, who couldn't do enough for us, thank you so much.

A bigger bed.

I tour Scotland by motorbike every year. In the last ten years this is by far the best hotel I have visited.I’m 67 and grumpy. The room was good. The food was great. The staff on the other hand are incredible.I know it’s my opinion but this is 7* quality for 1* price. Thank you for allowing me to be your guest.

Really friendly welcoming staff. Good sized room which was nice and clean. Dinner and breakfast was of high quality.

Staff were so accommodating and helpful we were attending an event in the hotel and they let us have access to our room early . The event was well organized and the food was delicious. Breakfast was pre ordered the night before which was great because we were able to order only the items we wanted rather than a standard breakfast

Nice traditional hotel with lovely room and recently renovated bathroom. Ample parking and an easy walk into the centre. Great breakfast with good service

The hotel was central to everything. The rooms are renovated and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff were lovely.
