The breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. Hot and fresh. We enjoyed it being served rather than the usual buffet style..

Really clean, bed very comfy and bathroom is beautiful.

I stay in alot of places in the uk 5 days a week 52 weeks for the last 7 years from aberdeen to bognor regis and this place is top notch chef very good and all staff rooms are very nice classy nice bedding big towels easy to use heating water everything you need. 10/10 for me.

The Room was tidy and clean bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent

The building was beautifully appointed, maintaining the original character. The staff were attentive, competent, and pleasant. The meals were also very good, including the breakfast.

From moment we go there until we left the staff were extremely helpful, from guy on reception desk, friendly cleaners and the chap who was working at the desk for breakfast in the morning. Place was clean, well maintained and excellent value for money.

Beautiful building and grounds, with large car park. I loved my room: plenty of space, and nice view. Excellent dinner - individual style, and plenty. Breakfast made to order - just right. Ideally located for buses to Edinburgh.

The showers are perfect, as is the bed and the facilities in the room.The restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast is excellent.The staff are friendly and very attentive.

Lovely room, very comfortable beds, very warm.Staff very friendly and efficient, extended hours for breakfast, we got a late check out on day of funeral, very helpful.

Only thing really, was the lighting in the bar, where we are evening meals, was too dark, the staff turned up lighting, but still too dark.

Gem of a hotel. At the doorstep of Edinburgh, great location. Don’t be deceived by the small reception area. The rooms are modern, spacious and extremely clean and comfortable with all one needs, including a espresso machine! The bathroom was very new and clean and tastefully built. The restaurant and bar serve very nice food, with a good variety of options, all comes very well prepared and you can top it all up with amazing cocktails. Breakfast was delicious, very nicely presented as well. Having the parking is a good plus.The best thing though is the young staff, all really polite and helpful.We will be back!!

Breakfast was just perfect. A la carte with plenty of choice and high quality. Good bus connection to Edinburgh across the road.

They seem to have a shortage of waitering staff, we had to wait a long time for our breakfast order to be taken and served.
