OYO Castle Hotel, Accrington

Totally disappointing, it was the...

There were no facilities at all apart from a sparse room. The place was un inviting. When we arrived the room was so cold and I had to request the hearing be put on. We had to leave via the dirty back yard with no one about or talk to.

What breakfast

There was no cheque in desk . You had to walk through the pub . On check out you had to go through the bear garden

Excellent place to watch El Clasico while eating a delicious lamb balti and no alcohol Guiness . Decent crack folk aye

Could do with a bath chair for showering

Good location. Good shower.

The kettle in my room didn't boil properly, it turned off after only a few seconds and wouldn't turn on again.

Everything it's easy to find, the staff are friendly and helpful I've stayed here 4 times I recommend it

No problems

We like the location

The bed was very noisy and when we looked it had a broken slat underneath it

I have stayed at the OYO Castle a few times before, when I have been working in the area. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful and had a comfortable stay.

Window doesn’t shut properly in room 3. So lots of traffic noise. Also the bedding and towels have seen better days.

John the landlord is a great host, nice friendly pub with a good atmosphere

Everthing. locaion perfect4 Me. Room sotless & bed comfy couldn't ask for more

Nice clean room near the station and town, nice pub.

A bit of traffic noise because it's on a busy main road. Not too bad though.

Very clean, nice welcoming staff. Not too loud from the pub.

Everything was good.

Super friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help and who even made us a brew in the morning. Great, busy pub with a lovely atmosphere by night and comfortable clean rooms upstairs.

LocationCheck in is fine and functionalIt's clean and newly painted.

It was basic, no pictures on the wall. No toiletries although I don't mind that.Shower valve leaked

The landlord was excellent, and the pub friendly and clean. Made a safe place for my bike overnight and useful recommendation for dinner. Everything felt very homely and comfortable.

Nothing!

Nice friendly atmosphere lovely people good location perfect for work personally but would also be an ideal base for day trips definitely recommend ten out of ten from me

Nothing to report

Convenient town centre location. Friendly staff. Ok for a one or two night stay.

Noisy due to location on major junction. Amenities are basic.

Great location. Small but cozy room, ideal for a solo traveler. Plenty of storage and lovely touch with the pot of porridge! Comfortable bed, lovely night's sleep. The staff were very friendly, showed me up to my room, explained everything. Can't fault it at all!

Nothing! Perfect stay!

The location was great and the staff are friendly. The rooms were very clean and worth the money.

Windows could do with an update to keep nosie out a bit more and stop the draft.

I booked just 15 min. Bevor arrival. The owner helped me carry my bags to my room and I could leave my bike save in the garage.

The room was front to a busy street.

Sleepless night, no breakfast.

Bar incredibly loud. Toilet seat not attached. Window not soundproof at all. Breakfast attempt shocking
