Hampton by Hilton Blackburn

There has to be a low-light bulb in the bathroom, as entering a bathroom with full high light wakes one up.

The thick carpet in the hallways makes lugging the luggage cumbersome and does not feel clean.

Extremely thin duvet so the bed was freezing. The water pressure in the shower was awful. One of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever been in

TV remotes not working, despite replacement and multiple calls, no shower gel or conditioner etc, shampoo dispenser not working, pillows not comfortable, breakfast not great if you're vegetarian,

The bed was soo uncomfortable they definitely need to upgrade them..and the room we stayed in 101 was so dusty and the corner of the windows has cobwebs and dust needs a good clean

Was expecting a functional no-nonsense business hotel (which it was no doubt) but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were compact but very well designed and seemed roomier than expected. Breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip. Limited menu compared to the fancier and more expensive hotels we stayed in at Windermere and London, but the food seemed fresher and tastier. Will definitely want to stay here on our next visit to Blackburn.

The front desk staff handled well a technological issue. They let me know the problem, apologized, and worked diligently and as a team to resolve it timely.The hotel looked nice and was comfortable.

Excellent breakfast. Location perfect for getting to a family gathering in northeast of town.Having stayed in many hotels of various standards, excluding higher end hotels, Hampton by Hilton was far better than other equivalent standard hotel chains that I have used in the past.Provided the rates are good, and location is convenient for me, I would continue to use Hampton by Hilton.

The rooms were great. Comfy seating area, nice shower, big bed and a huge tv. The WiFi is also excellent here.

The cooked breakfast food wasn’t great and a bit rubbery which was a shame. The continental side of the breakfast was good though.

Convenience, privacy. Facilities and cleanliness in general was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all hours. The location was great. Nice views and parking is great too.

Could be abit cleaner in terms of sheets or cutlery and plates and cups. Breakfast options are quite limited. More fruit, more savoury pastries biscuits etc. lighting is quite poor. Would like to have a light that brightens more of the room. Pillows are weird and uncomfortable

Zero sleep

Barely slept.. Firstly a loud running water noise that kept us awake, we was offered a room change but not really what you want at 1am.. when the water noise finally stopped there was lots of running and shouting up and down the corridores.. no real apology on complaining the morning after.. we have been regulars at this hotel we thought we deserved a bit more in the way of an apology..

Lots of free parking, good reception/bar layout, good room, comfy bed, quiet, lovely staff. Great breakfast.

The breakfast could have been improved with more choice such as a different choice of eggs, proper hash browns, croissants and the orange juice had run out
