    Pros +

    • I loved coming back to the friendly greetings and chats I had with lovely hotel emloyee on the reception. Their warm welcome was so special. And also who does the rooms so beautifully. It's a friendly place to stay.
    • The locationQuiet room
    • Booking in was very easy and my bedroom was very clean & tidy.

    Cons -

    • Extremely dated, ok for one night
    • I hadn't realised that by not booking direct with Days Inn, I would have to pay a £5 parking charge. I will know in future! The breakfast Box was a bit basic and didn't contain a spoom with which to eat the Cornflakes. I collected it on departure so it was too late to go back and use a teaspoon from the bedroom!
    • Not clear on booking site that guests need to pay £5 parking until arrive. Yes, states non-guests can park and pay the £5 as on service station site however not clear guests also have to pay this (should be free or included in price).Room needs overall inspection by management - chips on bath, sloppy paintwork on bathroom door (white door, blue handles where part painted over in white paint, chips above headboard on paintwork, footboard into bathroom needs re-painting/varnishing, can't control temperature in room.

The breakfast was ok, would I add that breakfast on in the future? No, I'd leave it and just get something on the way. The room was a good size but a chair in the room would have been nice and made use of the space a bit more.

£5 extra for parking due to booking here opposed to directly. When you book directly parking is free.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Well located for Bridgend and very well priced.

Decoration was a little tired, but was everything we needed. A bed and shower.

The hotel itself good ..clean and ideally located for our purpose ...good value

Confusion over room allocation ...other guests entered our room using their key card not ideal

    4DeanPosted on: 2-8-2026

    Disappointing

Booked for myself and my son who is 10. To see loads of black curly hairs from down there, all over the shower, someone's shaving hair was around the sink, loads of dust over the headboard of the bed and lights and picture above the headboard. When I asked was there a cleaner on shift or a different room, the answer was just no there isn't and there's no other rooms left at all, no explanation or effort to resolve it. I asked for something to clean it up and all I was given was a damp cloth.

    The staff were very kind.

Not clean. Terrible smell. Very dated.

Recption staff on the saturday was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful.

Room was comfortable, The staff were very professional and very nice. Checking in was fast and easy.

The towel i was using (i imagine towels are washed off site) to dry off after my shower had a bit of hair on it.

    5DeePosted on: 1-11-2026

Friendly, helpful receptionist (Angela) and location (close to relatives house)

Beds were tiny. Tv would only turn off at the wall socket. Breakfast came in a cardboard box ... no cooked breakfast option (not made clear on booking)

    5JackPosted on: 1-10-2026

    It was cheap

We paid for breakfast and it was given to us on arrival in a box and was not worth the money. We assumed it would be a proper breakfast in the morning.

    9AngelaPosted on: 1-9-2026

Easy location very comfortable bed . The room smelled nice and was lovely and warm

no plug socket at the side of the bed was not convenient

    9JanetPosted on: 1-9-2026

Near the motorway and near food places

A little difficult to find but maybe that’s me

    10AmieePosted on: 1-6-2026

Staff were lovely, the receptionist was friendly and really helpful. Location was excellent and overall easy to navigate to and from.

The room was a little dated and there were cobwebs hanging across the ceiling and parts of the walls. Other than that the room was really clean and tidy.

    8RogerPosted on: 1-4-2026

    Location and cost

Cobwebs on ceiling of room and we stayed in same room 6 weeks apart and cobweb was there both times.
