Stopped a few times here and always been welcoming
Toilet was an issue didn't flush very well and my mother struggled with getting in the bath and out for a shower
Room had everything we needed. It was a little tired and dated but clean. Breakfast was lovely and staff attentive when items ran out.
Wasn't in the room much and got back late as at a party, so didnt like to try and go to reception but the toilet wasn't flushing. and made a loud noise. After 5 or 6 flushes eventually worked.
Loved the breakfast and location was perfect
One think the water for the tea wasn’t so hot that is the only criticism everything else was perfect
Very cleanFriendly staffGreat breakfast
Couldn’t find the reception but was dark and rainingSign quite dimly lite
Perfect location clean tidy welcoming
plenty of parking
room 6 (i think it was) faced directly onto the carpark .. the carpark was lit all night and shone through into the room so had an awful nights (lack of) sleep . Decor and bathroom certainly needs an update but lack of sleep was my biggest issue. As a suggestion a black out blind behind the curtain would seem to be a sensible idea
Rooms were spacious, comfy and clean. Food was amazing, staff all friendly
As we had an event on the night, breakfast was a bit early but not a deal breaker
Large, clean room on first floor. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
Room a little chilly as radiators not on.
Friendly staff
Not very clear and the room was freezing cold didn't manage to get any sleep so we had to leave the next day even though we paid for 3 nights
I, sadly, don't eat breakfast, but I know it is good from past experience. All my experience of the food is really good and Christmas lunch was really yummy take away. The privacy, the quietness, the friendliness, the freedom, the space in the rooms, the warmth and comfort: these people have looked after me for years and I keep going back again and again.
The only thing that flagged up for me was the lamb for lunch. I'd change the supplier. The cooking is great though.
was a nice old school sort of vibe, staff were brilliant , room comfy and clean and breakfast was spot on. Will be returning
Good parking, comfy clean room, good breakfast.
Booked for an evening meal at breakfast, watched it being wrote in but when arrived later on we weren't booked in can only think we were booked in wrong day and they were unable to accommodate us as they were very busy.
We had 3 rooms for 2 nights. Touring musicians. Very comfortable rooms. Clean, excellent bedding and facilities. Staff were wonderful. From the welcome check in to the brilliant housekeeping lady who arrived each day asking if we needed a supplies 'top up'. Great bar, lots of choice. Lovely breakfast and obviously a very popular hotel and venue. Plenty of car park space, and felt very secure. We will return next time we're working nearby.
Nothing. All good.
Friendly staff clean comfortable rooms good breakfast
Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast
I had asked for a twin room but was given a double room as was planning to stay with a friend who could not come because of illness. Had she arrived there would have been an issue!
