- All the staff we encountered were excellent. Friendly, very competent and respectful. Couldn't ask for more.
- Great convenient place to stay. Room comfortable and quiet. Great Bath and shower.
- Great staff. So friendly and welcoming. A comfy bed and a great shower.
Cons -
- Having to pay 10 each to use the pool!
- Our room was comfortable enough but the bathroom especially was very tired. Definitely in need of refurbishment. The room itself would also benefit from some work too.
- Nothing. Had a chess tournament here and the room, breakfast, and how they organised everything was excellent. Had a noisy neighbour one night through a connecting door rather than a wall, but that's not their fault.

Staff super helpful, facilities for evening were fabulous,
Room and bathroom could do with. Touch ups of paint, sealants
Actual hotel was lovely. Staff great. Room was clean and pleasant.
I was put in an adjoining room where the light came through the single door in to my room and the guests next door were extremely noisy all night. I also had someone banging on my door in the early hours of the night twice. So I didn't rest at all. It was quite upsetting. The hotel wasn't even that busy so there was no need to have me in an adjoining room.
Nice size rooms great location
Really poor food & service been going to this hotel a while and the menu hasn’t changed and they run out of popular food choices quickly
Staff were very friendly
Some of the residents, party was going ok and people being sick in the bar area
Lovely staff & friendly staff, clean rooms food is nice
Nothing really only the cash up bar so card only after a certain time. Not a problem only it could catch you out if no payment card
Rooms are plenty big enough and clean, room was made up every day
They cash up the bar before last orders
Everything, hotel is altogether very good Room was a lovely big roomGreat surrounding area
The size of the coffee cups, were a bit small
The staff were excellent. Very professional helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and had everything you could need. Will stay again
The hotel and room and views were nice
Waited 10 mins to order food while bar staff chatted! Was kept awake all night by an uncomfortable bed and a dog next door constantly barking!
The facilities and location
People who was walking to their rooms after 12pm was so loud and shouting and singing and happened numerous times. I’ve come with my 6year old boy who woke up a couple times and was scared of how loud they was I had to tell them to be quiet.
Nice and clean well equipped and staff were very helpful and friendly
The room was ok, bathroom was a bit tired, 1990's tile frieze, mouldy ceiling, I would have expected a coffee machine for the star rating & price. The ladies at breakfast were lovely, very hospitable & friendly. It is a good location for work, I visit our Northampton operation once a month so this hotel would have been perfect but I wouldn't stay here again.
Food on offer for dinner was awful, Junk, processed, bar food, not everyone eats fast food. There was nothing vegan & gluten free & I don't want to sit in the bar area to eat my dinner. I travel for work every week & pretty much everywhere I go, they have a chickpea curry or a bean chilli. I ordered a glass of wine to have with my dinner that I never managed to order, cut my tongue on either the wine glass or something in the wine. No first aid was offered, no accident book entry, no real empathy from anyone. I had to go to my room & call for a duty manager to get a first aider & supplies to hygienically stop the bleeding. When I spoke to the food & beverage manager about the lack of 1st aid, all she said was she checked my glass & it wasn't cracked, right, so I cut my tongue on nothing? Then when I spoke to her about it she said, well you went to your room' Of course I did, I had blood coming out of a cut on my tongue, I needed to see it & stem the bleed. I had no dinner & what should have been a relaxing evening was unnecessarily stressful & badly managed, honestly, if I wasn't so far from home I would have driven home that night.
- Friendly & pleasant staff members - Nice & clean - Only a five minute drive into town- Mini fridge in room- Bath tub
- Had to pay £10 extra per person for use of swimming facilities.

The hotel staff were welcoming and the overall presentation of the hotel was lovely. Hotel staff and management went over and above to help with an issue with my car, and Maintenance Operative kindly assisted with my car issue.
My only critique is information surrounding the swimming pool. At arrival received limited information on the swimming pool open/close times. Although it was known I was travelling with my son, 7 yo, I wasn’t told that the swimming finished at 6pm. Unfortunately we missed the opportunity to swim the first night.
The staff were great, the room was clean and warm , the bed was very comfy, bar staff and waiters were very good as was the food , breakfast was spot on .
More choise on the menu.
