Pros +

Lovely room, helpful and friendly staff, great location
Pure country charm exhibited by both the facility and the staff.
The hotel was lovely and charming, and it was centrally located in the Cotswolds town of Stow-in-the-Wold. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. It was not a new or modern hotel, but that would have out of keeping with the setting.

Cons -

Church Bell ringing throughout the night
Too few electrical outlets for modern travel. Shower could probably stand an upgrade. Squeaky door hinge made it hard to depart at 7AM without affecting neighbors.
I can't think of a thing that we didn't like.
