We stayed for one night at The Dial house this week and would highly recommend it ! The team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble ! We loved the quirky decor and the food was absolutely delicious
Great location, good food, exceptional staff. Parking on site. Lots of character. Awesome rooms.
This was our second visit here. Such a lovely hotel. Staff really friendly. Fab room (we were upgraded which was so kind). Dinner amazing, breakfast amazing. It is located in the centre of Bourton on the Water which is so good so you can walk everywhere.
Absolutely nothing!
Breakfast was superb! Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is ideally located. The halls near the lobby was beautifully furnished with many paintings, art works and lovely and unique show pieces!
The bathroom had a weird smell and it was not a comfy feeling. First day - the body shampoo bottle was not functioning. The staff replaced it. But these things should be checked before hand.
Well cooked and presented included in our booking.
Cost of pot of tea or two at £10 considered expensive with one tea bag in teapotL
Perfect location in the middle of Bourton on the water. Lovely old house very tastefully decorated and furnished. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and perfect for our pre Christmas stay. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Food was excellent.
The bathroom in our room was very small and awkward, not much room to get in and out of the shower. We couldn’t enjoy the sitting area for our pre meal drinks as it was full and were shown to our table an hour before our booked time. However, the small dining room was busy and we couldn’t really hear our own conversations.
A beautifully presented property both inside and out. Warm & cosy, perfectly situated for everything. We had Delicious breakfast & a very enjoyable evening meal.
No negative comments at all!
We travelled as a family of 8- ranging from infants to early retirement ages and the staff could not have been any more accommodating, warm and professional. The rooms were all cosy for the freezing January weather and the food was so lovely. The location is perfect at the heart of a busy town.
The food was exceptional, great menu, well presented.
The room booking, suggested bath and shower, on arrival it was shower only. Bathroom was freezing, very small and the shower created a very wet floor the bathroom door had water damage, so this was clearly on ongoing problem. The television didn't work properly, clearly someone had tried to fix the Ariel with chewing gum, and there was dust and someone else's dropped medication under the bed, the room was supposed to be a superior, but no gowns, no slippers considering the bathroom and floor was so cold, no fridge, no proper milk, teabags poor quality, not what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre.
Brilliant location, great family room with 2 bedrooms and a double and 2 single beds.
Property was a perfect location. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were friendly.
The bedroom was very small and bed not too comfortable for how much we paid. Maxis bar was closed as it was too cold but then another member of staff told me it had been closed since April. We booked this hotel because of the outside bar so it is a shame it was shut. I had also checked and Google has said it was open so this needs to be changed.
Helpful and polite staff. Good food and well presented.
Karl, Scott and Annie made every minute perfect for us and all our guests. You have an excellent team who care about their guests’ experience and this can be felt from pre arrival to every meal, drink and special request. We all felt truly cared for by all of your staff - a BIG thank you & a happy Christmas to all ❤️
The staff and service were excellent throughout our stay and the evening meal was superb. The lounge is comfortable and the seats by the fireplace are lovely. The location is perfect and on site car parking was always available.
The room was a little on the small side, likewise the shower cubicle. Because there is no evening dinner service on a Sunday it does feel on this day more like a b&b when everyone leaves at 6pm. The fire alarm went off in the middle of a rainy Monday night but the discount off the food and drinks bill was a lovely gesture.
Everything was lovely food staff rooms parking
The pillows are so hard
