Pros +
- The Inn is a welcoming blend of enchanting old and welcome modern. Located away from buzzing traffic yet easily reached without compass or sextant. Food and drink and the overnight accommodation far above average. But it¿s the people who make the magic
- The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Exceptional service! The pub was cozy and warm with delicious food.
- Every member of staff was welcoming, the food was very good, great views across the valley from the pub garden. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable.
Cons -
- The quality of the rooms was far below our expectation. The doors were thin meaning we could hear any noise from the hallway or from the bathroom. The bed also felt very flimsy despite seeming relatively new. It was bad enough that we had trouble sleeping through the night because of the noise and movement of the bed anytime one of us shifted at all.
- Nothing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
- Quarters are like à US motel rather than what you expect for a UK Bnb

Brilliant countryside pub/inn. Would have loved to have stayed another 5 mights. 20 minutes walk from a farmers market.
Beautiful old pub, in a quiet, charming village
Great location and pup. Clean quarters

Peaceful setting short drive from Cirencester and Stroud. Pub dining was good, and local beers. Comfy rooms and good parking. Helpfulness of staff was good.
Only negative that soundproofing of rooms wasn't great. Woken up by the neighbours at 6am on a Sunday and loud water pipes. Some of the waiting staff did not know the menu allergens confidently. Management was good though.
A beautiful Cotswold experience . Full of history and charm . Kind and caring staff topped with the best poached eggs for breakfast that I’d had in a long time !
Not a thing
Very comfortable & clean accommodation in a separate block from the pub. Good sized car park. Lovely atmosphere in the pub & the food is excellent. Very good cooked breakfast.
Good bar, good beer and wine, cheerful staff. Nice buildings.
The Crown Inn is a bit difficult to find, but everything else was fine
This is one of the best hotel we stayed. Comfortable, friendly and helpful stuff, great location.
Characterful pub, lovely picturesque location with great walks on the doorstep.
the whole experience was a joy, the food was absolutely stunning, location was cosy and beautiful sat right by an open fire, staff were perfect, breakfast was lovely, alll of it just great
Great food, very well located, friendly staff
We have been a few times to the crown, always have an excellent time food and staff amazing. Have already booked to go back in June can't wait. ?
Our 4th visit and, as previously, it is ideal for visits to our family who live locally. The staff are friendly and breakfasts really good. Will continue to use.
Beautiful location. Breakfast & evening meal just average. Room basic, however clean, thankfully. House keeping poor. Requested a cleaner kettle ( heavy scaled plastic kettle provided) never materialised, so we were unable to have drinks in the room - rather annoying!More a 3 star in my opinion.
Lovely outdoor beer garden, quaint dinner area with great food.
It was lovely. We enjoyed dinner, a night stay and breakfast. The black pudding was divine. Our kids loved everything as well. Family room was quite spacious and it's super dog friendly
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They had reserved tables for us on arrival which was a nice touch. The room was better than I expected in its size and the bed was very comfortable indeed. The meals we had were good, filling and tasty. Breakfast was also very good, and included black pudding which is a particular favourite.
The doors to the rooms are thin and not sound proofed, so sound carried quite a bit, although on both evenings the pub was quiet so I wasn't disturbed.
