Good breakfast, pretty building

Didn’t really feel like a hotel with minimal staff around, not much life to it and a bit basic.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The bed and linens were exceptional. The front desk woman who checked us in was especial gracious and professional.

The staff at the spa/pool seemed bothered and unhelpful. When I asked if there were any openings for treatments she told me to “look online”

The building and the little church beside. Interesting interior design. The gardens with its terraces, lakes, cascade and overall composition. But the best was the very good swimming pool , its architectural design, comfort and setting in the gardens

Bedside lamps not strong enough and directional for comfortable reading in bed, power sockets positioned too low. Dinner food could have been a bit better considering the price.

Games room and pool / spa were wonderful.

The little luxuries were missing. No nibbles when having pre dinner drinks, no toiletries like cotton buds/shower caps. Our room was next to a noisy ventilation system so I wouldn’t stay again. Dinner was a high ticket price and wasn’t up to the high standard - steak overcooked for example.

No porters. We took our own luggage in and out of the room. The front desk staff helped us.

Location and quiet

There was no elevator. Escalators are high.After complaining they gave us and a stable room that still had stairs and was dusty and we are allergic.The style is too pretensions! Should be more English old style as an old palace not pretending to be vintage.

Absolutely stunning location and grounds, beautiful spa with indoor and outdoor pool we got so lucky with the weather. And a fabulous Terrace.

Location and venue was amazing, grounds and room were all exceptional. Lots of the staff seemed new and didn’t seem know much about facilities or be able to answer questions when asked but nothing else bad to say.

Always love staying at Cowley, the bar staff was excellent on this occasion. It was my husband’s 60th and I love the way they made him feel extra special.

A shame the Spa treatments are limited on a Sunday.

STUNNING property! Stunning pool / sauna / steam room. Overall SPAVery nice rooms, with a massive bathroom! Exceptional service and staff - very professional and nice! Very nice breakfast and restaurant! We LOVE it - it was a shorter weekend in Feb but we will be back for sure! And they have electric changers in the parking! Game changer for someone like us that decided to go with a Tesla in the middle of the English countryside! 10/10

The grounds are absolutely beautiful as is the interior design of the hotel and the rooms. The staff were all, without exception, helpful and friendly. Our room was great, so spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is great too. It is very expensive which would be the only negative but I can see where the money has been spent and I didn't feel like a complete rip off.

I thought the dinner options were delicious and the hotel was in beautiful surroundings. The spa and heated pool was excellent.

The room had no coat hooks and there were no proper lunch options. Also different pillow options would have been nice as they were all fairly large and puffed up.

We had a wonderful stay at Cowley Manor! The place is impeccable - our room and bathroom were gorgeous. We loved the facilities (bar, games room, spa). The only down side was the restaurant unfortunately - it is hugely overpriced and not worth the money to be honest, which is a shame. The drinks and wine were lovely though, so was the buffet breakfast. Overall, a lovely stay and we would definitely go back.
