    Pros +

    • Lovely property and good service. Our Owl room was very nice but the bed was a little uncomfortable. Other than that - fab stay!
    • Room was lovely and comfy, the food was delicious, especially the breakfast, and the staff were friendly.
    • Probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had (and I travel a lot!) Myself & my sister took our Gran here for a trip (following losing our grandad) and wanted it to be really special & it literally went above and beyond any of our expectations. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and nothing was too much for them. The property itself is beautiful, it’s situated in the main area of Tetbury and easy to walk to everything. Once you walk through the building it has beautiful large gardens with deckchairs and a water fountain, where we spent the afternoon relaxing after exploring. All the wait staff were checking if we needed anything (without being annoying)! We also ate dinner there that night and the restaurant again was amazing! Our server was so helpful and offered recommendations and was chatty - the decor is also so nice and I loved the dog themed art work that was displayed around the hotel. The room and bed was also amazing - the bed was insanely comfy and the bathroom decor was soooo nice! The shower was easy to use (my 94 year old gran even said she found it easy!) the breakfast the next morning was delicious too! There’s a buffet of cold items and then also you can order hot things too!The manager (I think it was) was such a nice man and he went out of his way to help us when we needed a taxi to highgrove. I cannot thank the staff enough or recommend this hotel enough! Thank you!!!

    Cons -

    • The bed was very hard.
    • I loved everything.
    • Reception staff were hopelessNo parking

Great meal. Very clean. Friendly. Beautiful garden.

The outside area was very nice especially with the sunny weather. A very good breakfast and dinner. The room was clean with a nice design and a comfortable bed and large walk-in shower. Friendly staff.

Our room was next to the stairs and on street side in town and that was all very noisy. I would not recommend room Robin to other customers.

Central, old worldly, character, clean and comfortable.

Service had to be chased up at times

Breakfast was very good as was the dinner on our first night.

The pillows were uncomfortable for me - eventually changed.

Beautiful historic building in the heart of Tetbury. Beautifully appointed bedrooms, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We also liked having a private corridor leading to the bedroom. The food was also very good and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast garden, tea/coffee in the room.

The hotel pictures looked nicer than it was. The hotel was old building, need refurbished, especially floors, sound proof room. You can hear everything in the night time every open/close the door, guest walked past or chatting.?

Comfortable, clean and tidy room and facilities. Helpful staff, nice location.

    10SusanPosted on: 4-2-2025

Lovely room; great breakfast; helpful staff; lovely garden - in which the wondrous magnolia was in full flower.

As people aged 80 and 77, access to the room on the second floor could have been eased by a lift! However, our luggage was carried up for us by Benjamin. Thank you!

    8CarolinePosted on: 4-2-2025

Excellent breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, overlooking your beautiful garden

Our room was on the top floor. Access was difficult without a lift to the bedrooms.

    8MaureenPosted on: 3-31-2025

Room - Comfortable bed and relaxing bath. Breakfast Good a variety of options. Dinner excellent

Service was a bit slow and the hotel wasn't very busy.At Breakfast the tables were not cleared and pots mounted up. My sourdough bread was burnt which spoilt the breakfast. avocado and poached egg.

    10ArthurPosted on: 3-29-2025

Really enjoyed our stay, and the quality of food in the restaurant was excellent, both dinner and breakfast, which was made to order, in addition to the cereal/yoghurt and pastries.
