- The staff were brilliant, very friendly and attentive. We stayed with our new puppy and they made us feel very welcome. We ate both nights. Food was great but some dishes I enjoyed more than others . We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Cons -
- The breakfast was not very nice as only continental,The website said breakfast included by could only have what they set up for usEverything else was at an additional cost so was not clear on the booking. There were at leat 8 different comfirmations both before and after we left which is ridiculous and not necessary

There was nothing I didn't like. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The bedroom was comfortable with a modern bathroom with a proper shower cubicle (which is always a plus for me - I can't stand showers that are in the bath). There was a huge balcony which looked over the Humber. Not the weather this time but in summer it would be a very relaxing spot. Having said all that the best thing was the food and the attention to detail / presentation. Fabulous!!! Evening meal and continental breakfast amazing
cleanliness of the rooms and décor.
Bathroom was very cold, paying extra for a cooked breakfast, this should be in the room rate, although continental is free.
Friendly staff, good location next to the river.. room was a good size, comfy bed.. good shower. Amazing food.. both dinner and breakfast.. lovely granola, which they make themselves.
Nothing really..
The staff were excellent - could not have been more helpful. Dimitri needs a special mention- so attentive. Also the bar snacks, drinks, bar area and food were unique and exciting - a lot of thought has been put into it- so cosy and welcoming.

Clean, friendly and great menu

Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Nice polite staff, eager to please.
The "Christmas meal" was plated up, no side dishes of vegetables. Our service in the restaurant was slow and I found all the table having to pre-order and choose from the Christmas menu or the A la carte menu was a little short sighted.
The Staff were extremely helpful & considerateThe evening meal was brilliant, a good selection and of very high quality. We had the continental breakfast option which was also excellent with fresh plums, juice includedPlenty of parking, off road
Lovely welcoming atmosphere, extremely friendly and attentive staff. The food was of an extremely high standard. Lovely warm fire to gather around, beer good.

Everything: staff; ambience; food very, very good.
Would have liked extra large/King size bed.Don't like VAT on everything put on bill (eg bar drinks)...not warned.
Food, staff and location were great. Great view of the bridge too right beside the river.
Being charged an extra £14 for a cooked breakfast when you see breakfast inc id expect there to be a cooked option.Greasy Smell of the hallway.
For the price it was sufficient- the food was really really good
Access to the room wasn’t easy up steep stairs and the place was a little in need of TLC
nice comfy room and delicous food
bed was a little small
Location perfect for our needs Lovely view from the balcony
Breakfast (continental) a little limited - service a little slow in restaurant on the Sunday - only had one cocktail - but taste and presentation could be improved ..
Very good.
The description said that the room was fitted with a desk. But in reality the desk was more like a dressing table and would have been too small to do work on.
