The location and breakfast.

The stairs were a challenge to our old knees, especially hauling suitcases.

Loved having a little balcony or garden area with table and chairs. Staff were incredibly responsive and helpful and breakfast was delicious.

Would have liked a window in the ground floor room.

Lovely room and comfortable bed. Nice bathroom, plenty of hot water. Central location.

Minor details - bathroom door didn’t close unless locked, therefore wouldn’t stay closed from the outside. Needed larger cups or mugs for tea/coffee.

Great location in the centre of town, close to everything. Lovely old house with breakfast delivered to your door. We really enjoyed our stay,

The room can be a little noisy if you have people staying above you.

Breakfast was good quality and very nicely packaged The room was spacious and very nicely presented. The bed was very comfy. Loved the bathroom leading onto our own sun terrace. Having a safe was a good idea.

It would have been nice for the bed to be made and bins emptied. I know you can request this but ( and I don’t believe Covid restrictions etc should still be a reason not to) it would be a nice thing to have as a ‘standard’.

Very cosy hotel with nice views in center of town. Beautiful terrace where we enjoyed breakfast from basket with our friends.

Only thing I can remember is that there was a personal hygiene things after last guest in the shower but otherwise it was perfect and the staff was super helpful :) .

Perfect location. Staff were very hands-off, which we like. Lovely, clean room. When we wanted the room cleaned, fresh towels etc, we just had to send a request via text. We were on the ground floor and had a small outside area to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

This isn't a "didn't like", but perhaps more selection on the breakfast menu.

Friendly owner. Nice room and terrace. We had a little bit of outside space to ourselves which was a bonus.

My own fault I didn’t read the small print but would have preferred a fully serviced hotel. This is more of a rooms arrangement.

Great location, room was lovely, no-hassle check-in, facilities all excellent quality. Loved the breakfast hampers.

Room was hot. They tried with the fan they had in there but maybe put another one in.

Enjoyed everything about our three day stay. Room was comfortable with all amenities. Ideally placed for all local facilities. Breakfast hamper delivered to room each morning made a pleasant change.

All good, no complaints.

The fact that they did no housekeeping without request and when we did request it, they only emptied our bin. We aren’t in covid now but they are still doing covid restrictions

Central in town

Could have had more fruit in the breakfast hamper. Just melon and a few grapes. The room was quite cold when we arrived but it was promptly sorted after I messaged them

I liked that you could walk beside the building and directly behind. There was a lovely park leading down onto the seafront. But if you walked the other way you had a co-op Tesco's and all of the fossil shops that you could dream of.

I didn't see any staff that often. So I couldn't explain my unusual breakfast problems that I had because I needed to be down on the seafront by 7:30 in the morning to help with the exhibition.

3rd stay (at least) at Lyme1 - best place in the area, great location and lovely rooms. Staff attentive and helpful as always. Breakfast hamper always feels like a lovely treat.

The room was lovely and the continental breakfast in a basket was also fab. Lovely to be able to have breakfast on the table in the room. Also, the location is superb. Close to everything.
