Days Inn by Wyndham Abington M74

We just needed a stop off for the night so this was perfect. Basic but clean and with everything we needed. Staff were lovely and friendly

I mean ….. it was £35 and I stayed over on a foggy night when it was too difficult to drive home. Slept soundly - the hotel fulfilled its brief !

Nice cooked breakfast served in the adjacent services (the Good Breakfast restaurant). Warm rooms, nice views.

Bathroom plumbing was shaky (literally) - you had to pull out the cold water tap to let it run. Bathroom door hook repaired solidly with a patch of unpainted plywood.

Lovely views and a great location. Driving up from the Midlands it gets me close to both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Room was facing motorway so was a little noisy although not terrible.

Being charged an extra £5.00 for parking when it was not made clear at booking. Had I booked it through “welcome break” there would have been no charge.

To say this was a cheap budget hotel it was very comfy no noise from the M74 staff very welcoming especially the lady that was on in the evening of the 6/2/26

Nothing at all

Really friendly helpful staff (jeanny was excellent) lent me a plug for my phone as I had forgotten mine. Room clean, good size, lovely cotton towels, cotton sheets, tea and coffee and kettle avaialbe, body wash and shampoo, hair dryer, for a budget hotel, is is really good. The little shop for essentials at reception was great.

everything was spot on. as i said for a budget hotel excellent .

Ideal Location for onward travel into North Scotland

A little tired and dated. Limited places to eat

Convenience of being on the motorway. Next to the services which was a bonus.

The bathroom was mouldy, room was cold when I arrived due to the movement sensor in the room having to be activated before the heating comes on. Hot water tap loose, very difficult to get hot water to run (room 122).

There were loads of confusion. When we arrived and got our keys, there were some other peoples staying at our room. Apparently they gave that room to some other people because they had some bad odours coming from their room.Eventually we went back to receptionist who gave use different room, but there were some bad odour coming from our room as well. We were so tired by then from driving around whole day, we ended up sleeping in that room and checked out first thing in the morning.Wouldn’t visit this place again.

Can't fault this hotel on any aspect. Room, beds, bathroom, towels, facilities and excellent staff.

Perfect location nice hotel good size rooms clean bargin price. Free parking as on Abington services. Nice and warm. excellent powerful shower. Dogs allowed

I come often for a little night away from Bathgate I enjoy a nice bath and beds are so comfortable

The place was very clean staff pleasant but it was a bit out of the way for me

Didn't like having to go to another place for my breakfast and also having to pay for parking although a member of staff told me if i had booked direct with them I wouldn't pay for parking
