Good location
Carpet stained draft through the windows
I like how quiet it is, and it was a not far from Bamburgh. The staff went beyond to get us get transportation.
Nothing negative
The staff and the food made this the best accommodation out of 7 stops on my trip. Plus the bar was friendly with locals and travelers alike.
Sadly we were in the annex across the cobbles from the hotel .The room was , slightly tired but the bed was clean ,large and comfortable. The bathroom was tired but the shower was excellent
I was content with everything
Absolutely lovely little place, friendly staff and charming location. We were made to feel very welcome with our two dogs and were very grateful!
The hotel is old but well maintained, exceeding expectations. The price is very low
Good location....
Property and furnishings are very dated and not very clean. Be aware church bells ring every hour during the night.
The Bluebell Inn is a real family affair. They all work at the hotel. A hardworking team..Lovely breakfasts with a good range of food. Comfortable beds. Rooms very clean. Plenty of hot water.
All good. Nothing to dislike
Very pretty and characterful hotel, a little dated and in need of some refurbishment , but lovely, helpful, friendly staff ( especially Deborah) and good meals. Good value for money. An ideal stopover whilst walking the Northumberland Coastal Path.
Bathroom dated and in need of new tiles, sink etc, but certainly didn’t spoil our stay.
The friendly and helpful staff were delightful. The hotel has a lovely family comfortable atmosphere and the facilities were great. The food was great.
There was nothing I didn't like.
On arrival I found that the hotel was closed, and had been for months according to the bar man in the pub over the road. WHY ARE BOOKING.COM STILL SELLING ROOMS HERE WHEN IT IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY!!! I could not find any other accommodation locally so was forced to drive back home again late last night and also forfeit my place in today's Bamburgh cycling sportive, which was the whole reason for my booking in the first place. Not happy and best part of £80 out of pocket (wasted fuel and bike ride entry fee) which booking.com should compensate me in my opinion.
I arrived late afternoon having walked 17 miles. The hotel was shut. There was a note on the door saying an electrical fault had occurred a few days before and it was closed - CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY I WAS NOT TOLD??? I then found another hotel and had to walk a further 3 miles
IT WAS CLOSED. I HAD NOT BEEN TOLD
This Hotel has closed with no information given to customers I arrived on Saturday 5th of April to find a notice saying the Hotel was closed no reason given. My time was wasted going there and ended up having to return home a complete waste of my time and fuel.
Friendly staff
Rooms were a bit tired however still a good size with all amenities
Love the location
It’s a bit dated but it’s under new management so think they’ll make some improvements
The staff were absolutely lovely, so polite, courteous, helpfull, professional and very friendly, they could not do enough for you.Breakfast was very good, choice of continental and full English.Would recommend and would stay again.
Could have a better water system, but its an old hotel with old features so not really a problem.
