About
Churchwood Valley in Wembury enjoys a naturally beautiful location on the south Devon coast. The park’s well-equipped wooden chalets lie in 75 acres of woodlands and fields, and benefit from on-site services including laundry facilities and a grocery store. Comfortable bedrooms have twin beds, with the 6-person chalet also including 1 double sofa bed. All have bathrooms with showers, and the 2-bedroom chalets also have baths. Each Churchwood Valley chalet has its own private patio area with outdoor seating and table, as well as a spacious living area with views across the park. It offers a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering guests to cook in. The park’s location is right by the coast path which leads to the River Yealm, where you can take a ferry to Newton Ferrers or Noss Mayo, where there are excellent pubs. In the other direction, walk to Mountbatten and ride the water-taxi to Plymouth, around 6 miles away.

Beautiful location, breathtaking views, comfortable accommodation and lovely staff.
It was a lovely cabin with all that was needed for our stay with lovely views just right for anyone with a dog or if you just like walking, with some local pubs with some fantastic food.
There was nothing wrong with the property .
Quiet and in a lovely location, a short walk to the beach. Well equipped as described. Staff quick to help and very welcoming.
No hand soap. Due to kitchen location it suffered from cooking smells but when we spoke to the staff they came out with air freshener and scent defuser.
The location was beautiful. Just a short walk to the beach. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. I was worried about it being cold as we came end of October but it was lovely and warm with the heaters on. I would definitely recommend and will return in the summer.
Loved hearing the owl at nightCosy and warm
Pillows and mattress …very lumpy
Free WiFi in cabin
Very tiny shower , tiny telly for evenings
It's wonderful to be truly surrounded by trees and greenery. Peaceful, quiet and close to nature. Friendly and welcoming staff who were knowledgeable and warm. Dog friendly and easy parking. It was delightful watching the squirrells and we even had a friendly robin as a regular visitor. If you want to get away from it all and find a green and pleasant haven then this is for you.
Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues but not impossible.
I loved that the cabins are separate from each other- all bushes around gives nice secluded atmosphere.
Cosy chalet in wooded valley with a patio. 5 minutes picturesque walk to Wembury beach and The Great Mewstone. And the South West Coast Path.
The chalet is on the side of the valley so it is very steep.
Location was beautiful. Staff were great and looked after me. Nice and peaceful.
If there was a bit more of a reliable way to Plymouth city centre
The location in the woods and near the beach. The seclusion of our cabin. The facilities in our cabin. The peace and quiet of the location. The abundant walks nearby. The staff. The location in terms of it being easy to explore the rest of Devon and Cornwall and a large city like Plymouth being relatively close by.
We liked everything about our stay. The only thing that would have been nice is a small tv in our bedroom but it was hardly a problem that there wasn't one.
Location.
Room was a bit damned and smelly. It needed some thorough ventilation.

The peace & tranquility of just listening to the birdsong & watching them feeding on the bird table just outside our cabin.
cabin in a wooded location very little outside noise very relaxing , short walk to the rocky beach great location for those looking for peace and quiet
Clean quiet and comfortable in a lovely location close to beach and coastal walks.
As it was end of season and had been very wet the trees and shrubs were rather overgrown and made the sitting/dining area quite dark. Hob operating instructions need to be more easy to find!
Loved the location, great for walking. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Outdoor space was lovely and well taken care of.
