With a magnificent location, looking out over the harbor and the River Dart, right in the heart of Dartmouth, this 17th-century building offers bright, airy rooms, free Wi-Fi and a stylish restaurant. Privately owned, the award-winning Royal Castle Hotel has a great location, in the center of the pretty town of Dartmouth, with its cobbled streets, intriguing shops and world-famous restaurants and bars. Rooms are en suite, and all of them are unique and individually decorated. Many of the rooms have river views. Every room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. With wonderful views out over the river, our restaurant offers delicious food made from the best, freshest produce available locally. The hotel also has 2 bars: the contemporary The Ketch bar and the more traditional The Dory bar. Both bars have real open log fires burning in the winter.

- Our room at the front of the hotel was very noisy through the night thanks to the local youth and their bikes/cars running around the centre of the town until the early hours. Maybe a room at the back would have been quieter?
