Beautiful grounds and walks

Very calm, welcoming environment. Our room was clean and comfortable with a courtyard view. We ate in the lounge bar for dinner and shared three mains. All were delicious

Value for money, plenty of parking, access to the spa and gym facilities at any time. Breakfast was tasty albeit not a full buffet.

Room could do with a spruce up although the bathroom was nice If you want a reasonably priced spa break though, this is what you get here!

We had like creepy crawlies in bathroom wasnt very clean be honest My gf was worried as got rid of 1 then another apeared also the bedding smelt bit musty

The location is nice

It’s quite outdated and could really do with renovation. The shower in the bedroom was broken, so I didn’t even end up showering, and overall the facilities just looked old and in need of some updating.

Immaculately clean.Huge room with bath and separate double shower. Very quiet so slept uninterrupted.

Beautiful property, with lovely relaxing swim facilities. The restaurant was lovely and only had a few tables so it wasn’t overly busy.

Thought the pool facilities were good. We had a fabulous Afternoon Tea hence we booked to stay. Our evening meal was amazing. Beautiful food, great staff and a lovely ambience in the restaurant

The outside light on the balcony was on all night, unable to turn off which was frustrating

Ideally located and priced for the purpose of my visiting family in the area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Was able to enjoy a reasonably priced bar meal in comfortable and quiet surroundings.

Lots of choice of lounges/restaurants, a good pool and jacuzzi. Very nice and spacious room, with a big comfortable bed, a separate shower and bath! I had a really nice massage in the spa too.

The staff are what make this hotel. The hotel its self is dated I had to move rooms due to a water leak. The spa was dated I only went once as this was enough

Very clean large bed. Pool & spa facilities were great. Staff were helpful during check-in & out process.

Jacuzzi bubbles not working, unfortunately. Pillows on the bed were very hard and heavy- would have been great to have 1 hard and 1 soft. In the morning my friend asked about the price of breakfast and she was initially told that they couldn't disclose the information? Maybe some confusion there.

Would definitely stay there again. Rooms were lovely, very comfortable and clean, nice bedding and towels. Well set out with tables and comfy chairs to sit on and plenty of wardrobe space. Staff were friendly and breakfast was great. Beautiful setting on the golf course and Thame was just a short drive away where we ate dinner out both nights - restaurants were superb.

The spa facilities really needed a deep clean. They were a bit grubby which was total opposite to the hotel. I told a member of staff about the water fountain which had green and red algae growing on it (you could scrape your nail through it!) and the next day it still hadn't been cleaned. Shame as the facilities were good - a quick deep clean could solve it, shower cubicles at the bottom, toilets, walls around the shower at poolside, dirt around steps into pool, missing tiles on hot tub.

Welcoming reception staff, nice big rooms, hotel in good condition and very clean, great value for money. Spa facilities were nice but got crowded at peak time (as expected)

Bed was a bit hard for our liking, balcony overlooked the gym/pool roof rather than a nice view of the course but we expected that. Didn’t use the restaurant but thame is close by with lots of options

A lovely hotel - excellent value for money. The room was both spacious and spotless. Plenty of parking spaces and an excellent breakfast.
