    Pros +

    • A very large bedroom, with good facilities. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. The views from the restaurant are exceptional. There was a good selection of herbal teas in the bedroom, and plenty of storage space. An ideal stop for bikers, given the storage space available in the rooms.
    • Lovely little pub with rooms. The food was good, the room was beautifully clean and comfortable with a stunning view.
    • The room we had gave an amazing view over the river and Dee valley. Room very clean and fresh. Breakfast plentiful and freshly cooked. Staff friendly and attentive.

    Cons -

    • Nothing to add.
    • There's nothing not to like
    • Property is quite remote. We drove into Corwen but very little there. The latch on our window was broken which meant it couldn’t be shut and there was surprisingly a lot of traffic noise throughout our stay causing a disturbed sleep.

The owner & staff were just brilliant, Sara, Jackie, Martin ( Chef) & all the staff couldn’t do enough to help, my family were staying near by & the used to come to the Berwyn Arm for food , it was excellent, break was really lovely & everything was spot on, we would definitely stay again.

The food is great and the breakfast is one of the best we have had, the room we always stay in is great with amazing views, and we go a walk to the grouse in which is about a 40 minute walk it's another lovely pub with great views.

Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Tea, coffee, water etc provided along with some toiletries in the bathroom. We ate dinner and food was lovely as was the breakfast the following morning and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly. Bed and pillows comfy. Room was nice, with nice view.

Shower head was bit broken, so water coming out wasn’t great. Bit of a not nice smell in bathroom that I don’t like. Taps were bit annoying, if you put on full it splashed onto floor. Which happened twice.

Great food and fab location Dog friendly

(Wouldn’t say didn’t like) but our room was at front of property and road is quite loud, plus directly above bar. But decent earplugs sorts that. Pub was busy so shame we couldn’t fit in but the staff accommodated us in games room which was great.

All was well and as expected

    Wi-Fi was terrible I think it’s a bit overpriced for a pub

Lovely place to stay ,very good food . I was a little scared when I saw that my room was placed over the bar as I don't like noise at the night, but after 10pm everything went quiet and peaceful ? Room had tea, coffee, biscuits, lots of towels, shower gel, shampoo everything you needed.

The location was a few miles outside of Llangollen, but we were happy with that as we were only staying the one night. We were on motorbikes and the Landlady accommodated us by arranging to park our bikes in a safe secure location around the back of the premises. The evening meal was exceptionally good, and the breakfast was lovely.

Our bedroom was above the bar and you could hear some chatter and banter coming through the floorboards. However, we still managed a good night's sleep. I wouldn't worry about this, but I just wanted to mention it.We spent a few hours in the bar before and after our meal and the locals were so welcoming.

Great hotel, beautiful setting. Rooms at the back are so comfy.Great breakfast too.

    Cannot think of anything

    9DavePosted on: 9-24-2024

Friendly staff, great location for us. Food was brilliant, really top notch.

It is on a main road, but this wasn’t a problem for us and we slept with the window open.
